Berserk, a very impressive manga. Great art work, story not too bad, lot of nudity and gore. I like, I like. If you ever read Shin Angyo Onshi,( i think that's how it's spelled) it's pretty much like that. The main protagonist has a glorious past but later was betrayed by his comrade, who eventually attained godly strength and the protagonist wants to extract revenge on the near-impossible-to-defeat villain.
Forgot the main character's name, but basically he can wield a big ass sword. Has like 60 gallons of blood inside him. Can get strike by lightning, burn by fire, hit by cannons and sh*t, and

This anime was so good it made me want to just go outside start walking around to see if there are notebooks on the ground that I can pick up and write my professor's name into it.
This anime is so well thought out that it's unbelievable. The supernatural beginning will immediately draw your attention. Like a mentally challenged kid running to candy, you will be glued to the anime. Even if the logic in the anime isn't real it still managed to make the readers feel as if it's genuinely intelligent, which is where the anime has succeeded in doing. Such as one of the scenes ... What's not to like? A transexual looking reincarnation of a legendary Go player teaching a kid how to play Go and paved out a career for him.
Good art, good story, and the ending was just absolutely nice! Also I love how they teach you a little bit of Go at the end of every episode. The anime almost made me wanted to start playing Go, ALMOST. The only turn offs were the Go salons, I mean wtf? I sure as hell haven't seen a street full of Go salons like what they showed in the anime. Only thing I saw in real life that's ... Feb 1, 2009
This anime movie is a 5 out of 5 stars in my book, simply because it wrapped up the full metal alchemist tv series so nicely. Absolutely beautiful art and totally re-watchable. The BSing of how real life history and their fantasy world connects is great. I love how they manage to fit that into their story. Very touching as well.

Interesting anime that I saw when I was really young. Lots of action, graphics could use a little more work but nevertheless very entertaining. It's never failed to disappoint me in the area of character developing, always something new.
But there were just a couple things that bothered me about DBZ.. The powering up time period is slightly too long for my taste, shouting "Ahh!! Ohhh! Ahhh!" for 4 episode is what I would call wasting time. The outfits, the outfits, creative and suits the characters as well as their setting but what are they made of?.. Every time you see Goku getting beaten half to death, ... Feb 1, 2009
Hm.. how should I say this?... If you are 12+ I highly recommend not watching this series. It will clash with our society's laws, moral beliefs, and sometimes the laws of physics. I watched this anime when I was in 5th grade and enjoyed it for a while(I was young and innocent and didn't know how evil pokemon was). Now I looked back at it all I see are..
1.) A world in need of animal rights. E.g. trainers throwing balls, knocking pokemon out and imprisoning them. Though some of them doesn't seem quite right in the head, they willingly gave in to capturing, probably got ... Feb 1, 2009

One of the more interesting animes that I've seen. I know summoning giant robots isn't anything new *cough* Gundam *cough* but given the settings, it is really separates itself from the other animes. Also the addition of magic made it all that much more fun to watch.
Hm.. speaking of which, I still have the action figures for this anime.. Jan 31, 2009
Absolutely horrible. I don't know what can make a series so unwatchable while its OVA and movies were fantastic. The lame excuses of jokes that this anime try to come up with makes you want to hop off a cliff. Kenshin totally does not possess the aura of a fighter but rather a klutz and fails at being funny. Even during the fights, it is just ridiculously stupid. E.g. forgot the name but there was this one villain who has a blade that reeks of the fats of the victims that he slaughtered in the past that when he fights his blade becomes coated

Great manga, highly recommended for people who enjoys psychological and theoretical ideas. The manga explores society and theorizes about the limits of the human brain. While it may be a bit slow at times it will still keep you on the edge of your seat.

For an ecchi genre anime this one is pretty well done and surprisingly I enjoyed it. The moments and the longing for each other gets repetitive but with nice variations, such as adding an additional character, event, etc. made the series very fun to watch.
