I would like to come back to this anime in about a decade or so, it's main message has a lot of impact and it's done in a matter that is not pretentious, unlike some other show I've watched. Some of the ideas and messages that were presented throughout some of the episodes made me think a lot during the week I was watching it.

Direction and Animation - 8/10
The direction this anime had was amazing on **most** of the impactful episodes, I say most because, the scene were the protagonist gets killed by his mother, was handled terribly, if anything it has no impact ... at all compared to other scenes showed in the anime. Yeah, I'm about to get KILLED by my own mother! Let's put on some Dubstep as background music! Despite the poor direction of that scene, the rest of the episodes have good art and direction, it's all consistent and it will not age poorly. I did noticed the direction was getting better as I was watching. The animation is good btw and uhh idk action scenes are also good ig. Also I like the designs from the little parasites, I think they are cute, they amuse me.

Music - 4/10
Terrible music choice, I guess Dubstep was at it's peak back in 2014, but how did they not think it was going to age like milk? Whoever composed for this anime is getting blacklisted and will be given house arrest, I don't want him around. In all seriousness, there's two or three tracks that I can remember, the soundtrack is just not iconic at all and it's just whatever, it's there, it exists I guess... I did like the addition to Chopin's Nocturne, one of my favorite piano songs ever composed by the way.

charcters and character deveoopmen 9-10
idk the characters are like cool ig, i dont like the girl, and also the other girl but with the better design, yknow, the one that gets killed or whatever ig, yeah she was kinda dumb but her death scene was one of the greatest directed pieces of media ever created and it blew my mind because i didn care for her yet that scene had emotional impact on me, i shed a little tiny tear of off my eye btw. uhh yeah i dont like the red hair girl she was like ehhh date me? n- no? YOUA RE A MONSTER, nvm you are not btw I LOVE YOU. AND Like shinnichi was like im cool and awesome and also im no longer human i have no feelings help me im becoming more and more autistic and then he starts re-developing those emotions back so it's like a lot of character developtment throuthouut the entire story and it's awesome how you see him change like wow im amazed ehhh the murderer guy can go fuck himself he is a bitch im lglad he is dead honestly uhhhh idk the characters are pretty human and i like that they dont feel artificial or fictional it's just normal ass people. I LIKE THE PARSYTE but he is like not-open-minded because he is like uhh i have no feelings idc im objective facts dont care about feelings btw but like then he realizes and he is like my bad ig and like idk just watch the show

10/10 show but the music ruined an impactful scene so like 9/10 btw can somone take out the music with AI or get a 5.1 stereo of this anime and just like change all of the music ig ? n- no? YES.

People upon experiencing a static transparent image of a what-so-called "anime" character traversing from one lateral extremity to another, showing off it's lack and poor quality of frame-by-frame animation: 😭

Animation - (1/10):
When it comes to this piece of fiction, the animation frequently grapples with the quagmire of mediocrity and laziness, resorting to the ostensible justification of budget constraints through the employment of Computer Generated IGraphics (CGI btw), in order to escape within the realm of traditional and effortful frame by frame animation. So the end product results to be a mired within a sea of mediocrity most of the time; I do have to acknowledge, ... it has its highlights and they are good.

Plot, characters, humor - (4/10):
In the intricate tapestry of this narrative, my affections gravitate towards Retsu, a character deemed by the younger generation as inherently "Cool" and perhaps even "Radical." He is one of the few characters that evoke any of my admiration to the narrative, his captivating essence and soulfulness stands out compared to the rest of the characters that Baki offers. In my humble, iconic, soulful, and perhaps even cute perspective, Baki, within the confines of his own universe, emerges as the least captivating character. So I say: The series would actually see an increase within the audience's interest if the protagonist was anyone else but Baki himself, perchance even excluding him from the central role btw. I'd say the audience reach will increase like O(n!) (For reference, look up Asymptotic Efficiency Run-times, also known as Big-O Notation, now look at how high O(n!) goes. Yup, that is me). I like the humor of the series, it's pretty funny. It makes me go "Ha Ha'' each time something off-the-wall happens, something goofy, you can even say silly. Hysterical even. The art direction the series manages is pretty good, I like how detailed they draw my big black burly men, just how I like it btw. But let's not get into that, it's a bit personal, I think. I'm more of a light-skin person (For reference, look up ___koree___ on Instagram, and also kingjames).

Musical compositions - (10/10):
The musical compositions within this context exhibit a commendable quality.Frequently composed within the Lydian scale, an intriguing deviation is introduced by transitioning to the Mixolydian mode, infusing a subtle yet peculiar playfulness. Predominantly, however, the compositions adhere to the Dorian scale (not to be confused with the actual character btw) and are accentuated by the incorporation and sneaking of a G# major pentatonic scale and several others. This deliberate musical choice not only harnesses the narrative's various moods but also imparts a poignant and mysterious undertone, cultivating an evocative and potentially tragic ambiance.

Disaster, disaster and more atrocious disasters with this anime - (1/10):
Something that provokes me stress, a feeling of disgust, melancholy, is the introduction of this series, showing our uninteresting protagonist engaging in seemingly purposeless activities while EDM music playing in the background is playing btw. This juxtaposition serves as a disheartening prelude to a narrative that otherwise unfolds with intrigue, featuring compelling characters like Biscuit Oliva. The incongruity between the lackluster introduction and the subsequent narrative richness indeed evokes a sense of missed opportunity in captivating the audience from the outset.

Biggest flaws - (0/10):
This is not over yet, oh no. I still need to talk about its biggest flaw. I've never seen anything like this before in my life, ever, not a single show, series, or medium of entertainment has had this problem before, but, Baki does. An anomaly unparalleled in my entire spectrum of entertainment experiences.

Baki ventures into uncharted territory by featuring a 3D model of a police siren in the outro, a seemingly innocent element to add to such spectacle. A 3D model of a police siren appears, and it does what a normal police siren does, does a normal and quaint 360 rotation within itself, otherwise known as spinning btw. The crux of the issue lies in the lamentable misalignment of the 3D model in question; As it fails to maintain a proper center, executing an inadvertent lateral shift during its rotational maneuver—a phenomenon akin to a geometric centroid offset. Each instance the screen transitioned to black, I found myself instinctively engaging in an uncontrollable bout of jumping, as I was jumping up and down uncontrollably, I always thought to myself, "I don't want to engage and/or encounter with the poorly anchored 3D siren model", So I automatically developed some sort of a reflex out of it, each time I now see a black screen I tell to myself that it will be okay, I will not see such poorly misaligned 3D model doing a 360 spin rotation btw.

Conclusion:
If tasked with assigning a numerical evaluation to this anime, I would proffer a judicious double-precision floating-point number, potentially gravitating towards 3.77 or even invoking the venerable constant π. However, MyAnimeList doesn't allow that, so I might as well round it up to 4, because if I were to put 3.77 on MyAnimeList, it would round up to 3, which in that case, I wouldn't want that. So I give this anime a 4/10. Not to mention, the author of this manga, clearly has a piss fetish.
