Before I start this review i'd like to preface that I did not complete the manga, but i have read the majority of the light novel. First of all, the manga does NOT do this story justice at all. My rating of 9 is for the novel, not the manga. If you read a few chapters of this and think it's decent, read the novel instead. The novel's writing is much better and you actually feel the characters' emotions. The manga just feels like your typical trashy isekai that you can find anywhere else, but the novel is a whole other story. The best way ... to describe it is that it's your typical isekai with a system and all that junk, but it is done very well. The powers the mc has do not feel unearned or just handed to him like so many other isekai's with systems in them. It does have a harem, but it's not one of those mindless ones where every girl is your typical damsel in distress or is essentially emotionless, every girl in it has their own character arc and they are very well-written. It's also not a fast or super large harem, there's like 3 girls from what i remember and they are all slowly drawn together over the course of the story. And adding onto that, the girls in the harem don't just mindlessly fawn over the main character or act like little kids (like in rising of shield hero, no hate to it).

I will not spoil this story at all, but let me just say this, this is not very similar to your average isekai whatsoever. The whole isekai element is barely even used, it's more of a pure fantasy story than anything. The story is fantastic, and the worldbuilding is also great, and best of all, it is consistently great. I've read the full manga, but I read it AFTER catching up to the web novel. The story is very good even almost 200 chapters into the novel (I haven't gone past somewhere in the 180's). The reason why I say that the isekai element is ... barely even used is because (very light spoiler warning) the main character doesn't really use any of his past knowledge to help him, all it really does is give him a moral compass different from the native people of the isekai world. That and he's not the only person who was isekai'd, but that doesn't come up until the latest few chapters of the manga.

TLDR: Very good, and the story is consistently good even in the web novel.
Another Note: The manga MIGHT be axed, because it hasn't updated in like a year, but i'd still recommend reading the novel online if you enjoy the manga. I read through the manga and it is very faithful to the novel, so you probably don't need to reread the novel from the beginning if you decide to do that.

Ranking: If we are ranking solely the manga, it is probably an 7 or 8 out of 10, but knowing what will come next if they decide to update the manga, it will be a 10 in my opinion.
