If you saw season 1 of this show and thought - wow, this was so good, I cannot wait to find out what is next!
Don't. Just accept that season 1 ends where it ends and don't even bother with this shitshow. There are so many things I could point out that made this a bad show, starting with the fact that a literal child could write a more suspenseful and interesting story than this one...

Made in Abyss is a serious, heavy-hitting anime that lures you in with its beautiful aesthetics, calming music and beautiful scenery and once it gets a hold of you, it never intends to let go again. Now just based upon the first episode, this show presents itself as a somewhat light-hearted feelgood anime about some kids and a mysterious cave system. However, if you go into in with these expectations, you are certainly in for a big surprise.
