This is a wonderful manga with a mystery and a message: don't give up on your dreams. The central mystery about the magician R will keep your attention while you feel concern for the main character who is struggling to support herself and her sister.
If there's a downside it's that the art is sometimes unusual. I like when select elements are coloured even though the art is primarily black and white when these elements are magical, but sometimes it's just a random object, like a fan for instance and it kind of takes me out of the story a bit.
