Urusei Yatsura for what it is, it is a great anime. Funny with a colorfully cynical cast with the only difference being the beautiful Lum. The synopsis describes episode one but what the rest of the anime is, is about Lum and Ataru living together and having lots of wacky adventures. As they get closer and start to care for each other more and more, even if it doesn’t seem like it. It’s small changes from episode 10 the end of the series. Starting out from hating Lum to never wanting her to leave.

It’s really a romantic comedy to the fullest extent and the best episodes are the concept episodes (ex. And then there were none) and the episodes featuring Lum and Ataru’s relationship (I.e After You've gone).

Funnier than the manga with the addition of Perm, Chibi, Megane, and Kakugari. If there were antagonist to the anime besides the teacher, Mendo would be my next candidate. He’s a very funny yet disturbed guy obsessed with Lum (like half of the cast). It’s a fun time and meant to be watched overtime, the flaws of this anime is that it is very repetitive and adapts some chapters out of order.

The soundtrack is one of the best I’ve heard and the animation picks up after episode 50. I’d recommend skipping some episodes though, specifically Ten episodes. 8/10.

This anime is overly praised and not criticized enough. I see too many positive reviews and not enough critical ones for this show.

Cardcaptor Sakura has alot of issues for all of the good it does. The world building and the cards are good, Sakura is a very good and complex character (the best one). However everyone else surrounding her is disturbed. Her father groomed her mother. Her cousin is in love with her and Sakura was in love with basically an adult. In addition they basically let a sex offender go free, the teacher who groomed Sakura’s brother.


The clow cards can get repetitive and has too many filler episodes. Sakura herself is a wonderful character with good flaws (she’s not the brightest for example) and uses her strength well later on. Her optimism is great for her situation and she’s athletic enough to fight the cards on her own for the most part. Honestly this show is not very good but is very beautiful visually with an amazing soundtrack. 4/10.

This anime isn’t as great yet not as bad as many make it out to be. I’ve seen reviews where this anime is either praised to high heaven or not given a proper chance.

So basically this show is about a teacher and basically one student (Konoe) sexually harassing this man (Aoki) to oblivion. Aoki is a wimp of a teacher and a general wimp. He has no experience with basically anything and is learning as we go along. Konoe is a very complex character but is used for a lot of sexual scenes, she lost her mother at a young age and basically witnessed her cousin Reji and her mother very close together.

Which is where I think she learned to act this way (hyper sexual). Reji is also very disturbed after his aunt died. I think this show removing the ecchi should be reclassified as a drama, horror or psychological. No one is really in a good position here to be honest. The ecchi parts aren’t very good nor necessary. Overall a 4/10. The soundtrack is a banger.
