10/10 Anime AND 10% Profit for Potocki :)
This Anime shines a lot with its Philosophy (and inspires me so much since I love Astronomy and History)
Arstyle-wise is not much to complain, here and there 3D animantion and huge starry skies.
Amazing voice acting (japanese) with well known cast.
Also the Story evolved in an interesting way, and showed us the importance of working together through history and that we CAN change the world, also in our short life, leave something behind.
Every character had their own believes and background, most of them well explained.
The concept of not only having ONE main protagonist but to pass on the wheel
...
to others, but still feeling the presence of the ones before, was a bit confusing at first (also with noticing the first Opening change), but made so much sense as the story continued.
The progressive change in the Opening and the Opening Song itself fit perfectly. One Opening, you would also like to watch, and not always skip.
Soundtrack wise, also very impactful, thrilling, piano dominant. Fit perfectly for the moods.
For sure going to read the Manga too bc of how impactuful the Story was! Both meaningful and thrilling - was gripped and moved by it.
Some scenes even bring tears to your eyes, highlighted with incredibly beautiful Soundtrack. Definitely a gem.
Although there will be people not quite suited for this title because of how specific the topic is at some points, it is definitely worth a watch!

What an emotional ending to an an absolute epic anime.
I have no words just now.
So this is it, one of the best anime of all time has ended.
I know the ending is pretty controversial, and I figured why but all in all it makes a round story and I don't know what I have expected to be honest. BUT HOW SHOULD aot have ended? With the cambers of hate and also the Titans being banned from earth there is no better ending. Of course without erens sacrifice it would not have been possible.
The ending hurt like hell. It really did.
But how all is like a
...
constant circle, that everything will be repeated and that there is no true end to this story, that is what truly was insane and I love that.
In the end I think it would have been better to see the specials in episodes form (that they will release soon) since opening and ending would have reminded us of the good old times with Linked Horizon, that way I believe we could have seen more connection between the first 3 seasons and the very end.
Animation was top again as well as the voice acting and the ost, well mixed from Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto Tracks.
All in all, as it should be 10/10 for my favourite anime ever.
I just have to say THANK YOU for this incredible journey. SHINZOU WO SASAGEYO

What an amazing anime!!
Very well written with beautiful animation, perfect music choice (ed song gave me shivers), incredible voice acting and deeper meaning.
Lies are the main focus of the plot as well as the dark and light sides of becoming famous or using it for revenge. I liked this comcept a lot also with how all the missing puzzle pieces needed or still need to be found.
There is also much truth and "wisdom" about this anime thats also why I appreciate it a lot.
Not a single episode (not even the long first one) bored me.
I am so thilled for season 2!!!

This Anime was wonderful in all ways possible! Everything fit so well together - Epic fight scenes, emotional and fitting OST and the directing itself clever made. This is an Anime where you can find hidden meanings and a touching story, epic machine battles, while every frame looks magnifiscent! LOVED EVERY MINUTE WATCHING - I RECOMMEND!!
I am sad I have not seen 86 earlier!
Further review that contains SPOILERS:
First of all the Artstyle in this Anime - beautiful landscapes while the Machines partly in 3D Animated and epic fight scenes - all in all masterpiece here!
The Story itself was touching, yes. I loved the deep conversations
...
they had (at fireworks, looking at the stars). Military, Death, Comrades, Friends - and yes I cried. So many died during part 1, also the death of Eugene was wayy too fast and it hurt but the directing needed it - The last two episodes were really emotional. And finally THIS BEAUTIFUL ENDING (despite everything) we all want! Focus not only on Shin but also on his left comrades.
Shins desperation and finally letting go of past trauma and memories, finding his true meaning in life plus getting back his smile was incredibly heartbreaking.
Characters: beautiful sympathatic characters and design who had all their different and understandable view and also enough screentime. Interesting backstories on all too. The setting reminded on aot or darling in the franxx (positively).
Music: What should I say: this OST highlighted the whole series - The crazy moments with the crazy piano play as well as the action scenes
Directing: Wanna say something about this wonderful directing - everything there is for a reason. Just to name one example - Remember ep 22: The screen on view from Shin getting smaller and smaller and Lena breaking this pattern by stepping over the line for him means he opened his constantly smaller view on things, giving him meaning.

Over all: 10/10
If you like meccha, fights, shounen and deep thoughts with emotional plot twists, beautiful landscapes, a bit of humor and magnifiscent OST you are well served here

BUY THE MANGA! The Anime is important to me I really loved the whole story and I am happy I have watched the anime so I got to buy the manga.
This review contains spoilers:
First of all: The story itself has deep impact and meaning. After a few episodes I really loved the concept but was a little disappointed by the artwork. That is imo increasing the more you watch. I honestly did not notice how "bad" the animation was after I read a few reviews and noticed myself. Like background characters are not even worth to get faces... Not like in the manga. But on
...
the other hand how are you supposed to animate "not important" fight scenes with not important characters? The style of the manga is in the anime, but it is still not quite rich. Still there is a feeling of nostalgia to certain watercolour like painted backgrounds but I actually loved that look. Too many still frames (sliding pictures) was the point that the anime was having too much and made the anime dislike by most people.
SPOILER: The peak of the animes glory was the fight right before Richard killed Henry imo.
But after I bought the manga and read it now until volume 9 I have to say the whole directing and pacing is really lacking a bit. There where Scenes I could only fully understand after reading the manga (like at first Elisabeth being the wife of the man that was killed by Richard).
At the end of volume 9, right at the time where Edward Plantagenet dies there are so many interesting details missing in the anime and also the pacing is just... not quite right for me (scene order is different).
After the last episode I watched now I felt like it was too rushed and you don't know if Richard really died... I know it is kind of a artistic dark nostalgia for this point too. But he finally got to love himself and this should be the most important. For the Manga I don't know the ending yet but I really wanted to get Henry and Richard together.
All in all:
story 9
art 6
sound 9
character 8
enjoyment 9
The voice acting was amazing as for the sound design and the ost was really fitting the dark vibe. And I loved the opening and ending songs and also animation!
As I mentioned the Art is lacking because of mostly background people for not having faces and too many still pictures in for example fight scenes.
The characters were all in all solid.
Overall 8 because I really enjoyed it (despite all the hate that the artwork alone just gets)

first of all: The German first OP is completely different and it slaps! I have been starting one piece and I am loving it so far!
As I was watching it in german I noticed now that the japanese opening is completely different not only the lyrics but also the song itself! But I am happy to see the german version because I like it more. If you're interested check out for yourself!
I am currently on episode 9....it's a long way to go...
I love one piece because it seems like a veery nice adventure (and it is going to be a loong one;))
...
and I am sure we are going to see a lot of new friends and enemies on the way, ah I just know I will enjoy it!
as for the main character luffy (Ruffy in german) is always having a smile on his face and that determination - I bet this is going to be even better than naruto...
Let's see. I am happy I have FINALLY started this anime! It has already been too long I have waited because there are 1014 episodes already and I thought that would be too much - but why not watching a anime that started airing when you were born? Just incredible imo.
