Time Killers (Manga) add
I'm starting this review with one small request: buy the book. You will not be disappointed, and, like me, I think this is one that won't just sit on your bookshelf. The art is fantastic, and the quality of each small story is pretty good, actually. So, please consider it. It's between 10-15 US dollars.

That being said, Time Killers is an awesome collection of short stories that, through out a few of them, you can see characters that resemble some of Kato's characters from Blue Exorcist (i.e. Astronerd, The Miyama-Uguisu Mansion Incident).

There are at 3 small stories that are colored in gouache (Usaboy!!!, A ...

Pan de Peace! (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (10/13 eps)
Ok.... so, this show is interesting.
I did not come into this anime expecting a story. It's called Peace Through Bread, not much to expect there. I did expect it to be a little bit like Wakako-Zake, the 2min/ per episode series about a person's journey through food. That was fairly good.

This series is not bad. But it's bland.

Art: 8/10
The art is actually very nice. It's cute and simple, with good animation. The detailing of the characters, settings, and food is lovely. There's no question about that.

Plot/Story/Characters/Point of Series: 3.5/10
It's a show about bread lesbians, essentially. No major plot, no substantial conflict. Typical of small ...

Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (16/24 eps)
Oh, where to start....

Well, I did not finish this series. The top thing that is wrong with this season is it makes the same mistakes made in the first season. And there was a lot. If, for some reason, you are not familiar with the plot of the first season, well.... go watch. You'll see.

The art and animation in this season is beautiful as always. It's something that partially draws me towards a series. So, that's definitely not an issue. Music was good too.

Many characters in this series are pretty awesome, like Asuna and Sinon. Many of the supporting characters are even better than the ...

I watched this directly after Book of Circus, and it didn't disappoint.

Based on the Murder arc in the manga, these OVAs seem to follow the story very strictly.

As with the Book of Circus, the animation is wonderful and the art is beautiful as always. If you were disappointed by the first and second seasons of Kuroshitsuji, I think you'll be pleased with these new seasons. It is still a good blend of humor and friendship as well as darkness and suffering, and shouldn't be taken lightly.

That being said, if you like murder mysteries (which Kuroshitsuji is full of) then you will definitely enjoy ...

Kuroshitsuji has always been a series that I can enjoy - both the manga and the show. The first two seasons were hit or miss, with the first being a lot better than the second. The first was at least decently related to the original story, except for the end (which wasn't bad, but it was definitely wasn't the greatest).

Anyways, this season is very close to the arc in the manga. I did not notice too much deviation, and I believe the sub and the dub were very good. The art is the same, with the animation being a bit better.

The story still ...

Preliminary (16/85 chp)
While the story itself is kind of a cliche shoujo manga (which has its ups and downs), it definitely has somethings that other shoujos do not.

For one, the communication between the two main love interests is fairly good. They don't go around, sneaking all their feelings. The girl, Ohno/ Ono (the translation varies), is very smart, and will speak for herself. The main guy, Akatsuki, is the kind who is "hard to understand," but he's straightforward and not necessarily a huge dick for no reason.

The storyline is fairly standard, but I have some hope that it might differ a little from the standard. It's ...
