Watched the anime as it was coming out, really liked it, so i started reading the manga because i couldn't wait to see how the story would develope. Turns out it really progressively becomes worse as the story goes on, it loses all the magic and wonder it had at the start and any real depth to the characters, and just becomes a generic terribly written isekai with the kinda harems, slaves, and the MC having being super powerful etc. If you do like the harem power fantasy, you will probably like it, but i really don't like that genre of isekai, and i felt

I really like the main pair as well as the pacing, but the writing of some of the side characters is just so flimsy and inconsistent and kinda bad, but if you don't mind them the main pair are very fun to read about, and have a really fun dynamic, i just wish the mangaka put more thought in fleshing out the people around them, specifically the student council members. I know world building shouldnt be the priority of a rom com, but there should at least be some consistency with the side characters, cause sometimes something happens that just does not make sense in

I really like the story, while it it is an isekai, it doesn't really feel like one. The story could work with MC being from that world. It is definitely quite dark, so if you are not a fan of dark/gore just don't read it, it isn't like horror gore, but it has its fair share of it. Not too much of the manga exists, but i very much enjoy how the world is set up, and it reminds me of a lot of the grim things that have happened in humanity's past, but in a very appropriate manner.
