Fruits Basket (Anime) add
Mixed Feelings
A wonderful, life changing story.
The heroine, Tohru Honda, puts a smile on your face at the end of any piece of dialogue she has.
However, the anime has nothing on the manga, so I recommend the manga so that you have the chance of meeting all the characters in depth as well as to have secrets revealed as to why they are all prisoners in their own souls.

Breath-taking, gut-wrenching and both heart-breaking and heart-warming.
One of the first animes I truly cried at, yet one of the first that made me fall off my chair with laughter.
A must.

Parfait Tic! (Manga) add
What I like about PT is that Fuuko is realistic and it's easy to feel sympathy for her.
She does a brilliant job of showing how you can mature and grow from each crush that you have.
Plus, I found it very difficult to side with either male counter-part. When you think that the energetic and fun-loving Daiya is the one, quiet, arrogant Ichi shows his softer side and sweeps you off your feet.

Sigh, you'll find yourself in the love triangle in no time.

To put it simply:
I wish more (if not all) animes could be like Ouran. It took the brilliance of the manga and made it miles better.
Laugh out loud funny at all times.
You'll find yourself hooked by the first episode, and hungry for more.

WARNING: Once you have watched, it will take a VERY good anime to satisfy you further.
