I enjoy stuff like this. Most people do not and I get that. It's a low budget Evangelion / Ergo Proxy / Texhnolyze, maybe 50%/25%/25% split without Mecha's. It's dark, and gloomy. I honestly did not see a couple key parts about the end coming. You think it's obvious what kind of ending it will have from the beginning but still gives hope that it can be changed. Character development was so/so. I think it would have been better if home girl wasn't a trap and made an Adam with homie, could of had that Adam and Eve ending. "'2 Eves, 1 Tuning Fork" is

If your looking for a thorough positive review you probably already read it. I don't under stand why it has such a horrible score. I found it to be really well done, and original.
The art style is off putting as it should be, its a horror movie. When she walks its disorienting which is frickin amazing. Obviously by how well drawn everything is the choice to make it this way was intentional. Someone who is looking for an anime with the same animation style as every other one will not like this one but that's ok. I thought the similar things about Aku no Hana ... Nov 4, 2024

In all seriousness I absolutely fell in love with this short master piece. In general most short stories fall into one of 2 categories: either they fail to captivate the audience in any meaningful way or Absolutely do captivate the audience and end abruptly or without completing the story leaving a burning desire for it to be longer. Rarely if ever is a ONA, OVA, or Independent Short Animation as emotionally captivating yet succinct as "#I want to see you before the world is destroyed" AKA "World, Before you end"(the bad translation that somehow stuck despite the official website and google translate ... |
