I actually read through the entire thing 3 times. Then sometimes I would read random chapters till I gave them to a friend for her to read and now I can't get them back because she won't talk to me anymore.
Night's Dawn Trilogy is the most epic series ever created. Most other "epic" books tend to be filled with a lot of crap *cough*Tom Bombadil*cough* but once you get through all the back stories in the first book it just kills everything else out there.
