I like this manga bcuz its a post apocalyptic slice of life manga. I guess there are others like girls last tour and the one with the shiba inu but I like the aesthetic/setup/premise of the manga so it is interesting. The author poses existential questions, and even though I don't agree with the the conclusions the characters come to or the rationale behind their worldview I like that the author at least tries to engage with the subject matter.
The storytelling is stellar and what makes the manga really good; while the main character is an empty slate who has not experienced much, the

This manga is very promising! It puts a unique spin on the zombie apocalypse genre, where instead of zombies, its an apocalypse of the protagonist's enigmatic former friend, Shibata.
Story: In terms of plot, this manga (so far) is structured similarly to common zombie apocalypse movies. The hero and heroine attempt to flee the horde of Shibatas while trying to discover a method to end the apocalypse. How would you feel knowing that nobody would live to remember you, that any legacy you have will be erased, that society is about to come to an abrupt end and that nothing anybody has done would be preserved? How would you cope with

This series is very good
Art: The art looks very distinctive and good. I think a big part of what makes horror manga scary is how facial expressions are drawn and this manga does that very well. While most of the time the faces look pretty normal when a character is f**kd up then their face is a perfect of mixture of normal looking and over expressive and it has like an uncanny valley effect. Also I like how the background is always really grainy and the sides/top and bottom of panel are much darker than the middle so it gives the feeling of isolation. The gore ... |
