After finishing Sword Art Online, it was about time I started continuing the story. Of course, I was hesitant at first due to its rating on MyAnimeList being drastically lower than the first, however, to my surprise, I found it better than the first.

Let me get this straight, I don't really favour SAO in any shape or form, as it does have major flaws that I don't really enjoy in an anime - such as Kirito being too OP and literally having a flawless personality; and Asuna being a female simp.
Despite that however, the new story managed to sugarcoat this a bit. The new ... characters Sinon and Konno Yuuki were all very well-developed and helped the protagonists lead the anime. Other than Kirito being the star, we had Asuna take the spotlight for the remainder of the season, which I liked as we get slightly more character development for her.

The Gun Gale online arc was good as it had variation , from swords and magic, to lightsabers and rifles. The Mother's Rosario arc was also good as we get insight on a new guild of members than just Kirito's.

I know that the majority think SAO is trash, and having seen it for myself I can definitely agree to a certain extent, but I believe that the hate is overrated. I promise I'm not licking SAO II feet, but to be honest I think it was good - better than I expected. 7/10.

Having just watched this without reading the Manhwa yet, I honestly believe this anime can be the next new modern anime classic.Tower Of God seems very promising to be a favourite of mine and I can't wait to see a second season.

The overall plot of this season was basically an introduction, with a group of people taking and overcoming tests created by the higher-ranks in order to be able to climb the tower.
We meet the main character Bam who takes part in the tests to find his love Rachel who abandoned him to climb the tower, and to be with her.

The plot was easy to ... understand, and in no way anything amazing. Of course, we see nice steady-pacing, world-building, and character development, which is what I expected of this show. The show had a regular structure of: take part in test, fight and survive test, rest, repeat. Whilst I didn't hate it, I didn't feel that this was going to be an amazing series.

However, I was proved wrong at the end of episode 12, where I was so dumbfounded and amazed at that great plot twist. Episode 13 just added to my curiosity and excitement on what was next to come!

The art style was a bit of a downer for me at first, but I learnt to forget about it, and actually liked it for being unique. The music was very good, pumping me up for what was to come in each episode, and overall the series did prove to me to be very good - it opened up a great new story and genre in the anime community and I am so excited for more!

This show was actually very good. From all I heard before digging deep into the show, people seemed to dislike it.

Of course Darling in the FranXX has its downsides. The amount of kissing, and drama is immeasurable, and Hiro and Zero Two are constantly torn apart from each other, which kind of made it a bit boring for me.

Despite this the ending was very good in my opinion. I was a little sad that Zero Two and Hiro died, but I was heart-felt by the others - Ichigo, Goro, Zorome,Miku,Futoshi,Ikuno, Kokoro and Mitsuru - as they rebuilt Earth and grew up.

The show ... could've improved on some more of the cast as although they were likeable, they weren't really memorable. I'm talking to you guys Miku and Ikuno.

On the other hand, animation quality and art style were an 8, and it was pleasing to see no CGI whatsoever. The music wasn't all that memorable, except the opening , but they were not at all that bad.

The show has very similar elements of other great anime such as Neon Genesis Evangelion and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which I recommend to watch first as there are much better characters and plot which I felt FranXX tried to copy but weren't all that successful.

I had no motivation to watch anime during the time I watched this, however it was worth my time and I managed to have fun. 8 out of 10 darlings.

I came into this anime having high hopes for it due to the critical acclaim it received from many watchers. Whilst I did know why this received much praise at the end, there were a number of problems I had when viewing it.

Firstly, the pacing seemed slow from the beginning but it slowly made its way up to at about episode 8 where I started having a better view of the show. All the action and plot twists were nice to see, and it constantly peaked my interest, however the episodes were a 6 imo.

I do think that watching this was worth it, and ... I'm glad that I experienced the hype people have said about the show. The ending was worth it and though most of the characters were quite bland, I did like Akemi Homura.

The action animation was great, music not bad, and art style good. Overall, I give this anime a 7/10. I believe the ending proved to be worth the time having watched everything.

Clannad After Story truly is a very heartwarming yet depressing anime about family,fatherhood, and friends. Definitely better than Clannad, it adds on to the story of the previous series and adds a whole lot of depth and weight towards the characters Tomoya and Okazaki.

the middle part of the series was what made me cry the most about, at episode 16, 18-19 etc. The ending was a bit confusing at first but after having watched the remaining 2 episodes i understood. I was somehow satisfied even if the ending of the Clannad series was to be a sad one, though the ending ... ended on a much more better note, with Nagisa and the daughter Ushio.

Though I wouldn't recommend watching unless you truly are sensitive about family and friend bonds, you will have a great watch and i don't regret watching this such heartwarming and tear-jerking series. 9/10 Dangos.
