I always see a lot of NGE fans loving Shinji because he is imperfect, he is a mentally ill teenager and his mental illness affects his world and his realationships. If you are a fan that loves NGE because of the characters and not the plot then Oyasumi Punpun might be your next obsession. The feelings of the characters are so vividly and strong portrayed that I often needed to put the manga away to calm down. Please let the complex characters and the deep plot of Oyasami Punpun into your heart.
