Good points that got me:
1. episode titles kinda catch you off guard: "Good Luck! Animenger!" when I knew this show is definitely a heavy hitter, emotional wise, but the lightheartedness was definitely on purpose. Also, "confession", seriously I thought the protagonist is finally confessing, but it's not JUST the confession of love, but something heavy yet understandable mixed in.
2. screen time for Aoi san/chan. Not just a yapper/side joke/ditz character, but she really is kind.
3. Aoi-san's mother got the best lines. The eternal narrator voice-over guy was in this show -> boosts fun factor by 9,000. (narrator for Hayate no Gotaku) The show has many ... non-serious side to it, but not off putting. They actually make you laugh even when some of them are cliche. Because I totally believe in the situation that this could happen.
4. a feel of everyone is a main character. The little kid's arch, the twins arc, the weird hair girl's arc. yet still maintain a lead character so the story feels more like in the first person perspective.
5. a sense of something strange is going on but it's not bursting. this subtleness makes it easy for the audience, AND the character to be able to feel confused, making chances for mis-communications and thus conflicts and stories. Red herrings and truth mixed in one bag.
6. following up with the strangeness, the show resolves everything it proposed. In sometimes an extremely concise fashion. One line, or a look, a slip of tongue, a gesture.
7. devils in the detail/contrast. connecting previous established rule and apply new meanings is a great technique in hooking the audience. In the first couple of episodes, weird haired girl and the main dude were seen and misunderstood by Nanaka, and later on, the weird haired girl did something similar to what Nanaka did. What irony. Also in teacher's caramel, and later a role reversal in the twins arc.
8. Contrast. related to 7, one way to apply the technique is thru contrast. Opening sequence is the school festival with them all dancing and singing. Well, there's contrast with that and the show. Additionally, music is definitely an element that connected them all from the beginning till the end. I wish they had done the gold ribbon thing in the first episode at the end too.
9. There are so many moving pieces and yet the show was able to show them in one fell swoop and nothing felt really out of timeline or out of place. I should watch it again to see if there's any though.
10. the show's animation style puts me at ease, not too busy, not that bright, with the everyday cloudy grayish kind of look - perfect for a slice of life.. ahh, i mean, a drama.
11. no outright fan service. I say this despite the fact of the first episode when Aoi showed up and the five second bikini line up. This is a pretty serious show and it treats all its characters with due respect.
12- a bit rushed. Now this is a good point, combining with how I watch the series in three days. It kept up with my pace.

some points that annoyed me:
1- weird haired girl's arc. Not sure why would she do it in front of the main dude. Also in little kid's arc, why does the main dude get all the attention?
2- seriously can the little brother's blushing BE more annoying?
3- more BMG perhaps? I really want to hear more Nanaka's violin. Reminds me of G senjo no maou.

Quick MAL rundown:
story - 8. Enjoyable. Best thing is they resolved everything.
art - 8 . not everyone's cup of tea but it's relaxing for me.
sound - 5 well there's barely any.
charactet - 9. it's not about how I love this or that character (aoi: blue sama i get it now lol). but how the characters are presented and the lines they say, man i love the subtle and succinct method of molding characters. seems very natural.
enjoyment - 10. I ran through the whole show in three days. For reasons explained above, this is a very enjoyable show. I might buy the DVD and study them later.
Overall - 9. well, 10 is Monster, Madoka, and this show gets 9. To be honest I like more of the technical aspect of the show then the product. Umm, still a 9.

Things that stand out to me is the piano composition that flowed with the mood. It's like playing rhythm games. good piano, good music,m good BGM. blah blah blah blah

Characters are highly predictable, it's like the anime was playing Dragon Age and allocating different strategy to them in a given order. Characters meh blah blah blah blah blah blah blah

Plot is predictable since there are so many big hints being dropped. That being said, this is not a mystery type of show - the feel is kinda more like Baby Steps. Plot twist you say? Well, depends on how you look at it. ...

Instead of simply giving points, I'll just write bytes

this show is not a typical show. It's original, with over the top yuri that was done in a way acceptable/not-a-distraction for viewer like me who's not usually going for yuri shows.
It's a story about love which is repeated over and over again.
It's a story about peer pressure which is performed over rand over again.
It's a show about extending your hand out to people who are labeled otherwise.

It's a bit heavy to swallow at first --- those cute looking bears actually kill people and eat them? But that's there for a purpose: one is for story ...
