Hi! Sorry for the late reply. Thanks very much! Differences between each viewer are inevitable - most important is that we watched the show and could form an opinion of it, even if it may not be a good one.
I'm personally not too great a fan of Yamada Naoko, especially with how K-On and Tamako Market came out, but yes, with Tamako Love Story and here in Hibike Euphonium i feel she has done a terrific job. She is definitely one of the younger directors who has a great deal of potential we can look forward to.
Hibike may not necessarily be Kyoani's best anime so far (MAL thinks its Clannad: Afterstory), but for me, it shows that they can do awesome slice of life if they try. They just need to put the effort into having a good source before adapting it to their best. What we got here was precisely that, I feel.
Ofc, Reina is best girl ^_^ Still, as a character she has a charm that for me, goes beyond the screen, and I think Kyoani has done immensely to portray her as such a character. If only all of us could be like her! But that's precisely what makes her so unique. There are other characters in anime and other media who can inspire such thoughts, but I feel this is the first time I've felt such a way with a character.

Just wanna say I completely agree with your Plastic Memories review and I'm really glad someone thinks about I the same way I do :D so thank you person °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
I'm thinking about giving Plastic Memories a 6/10 meaning not good but fine lol.
I think Plastic Memories is trying to do too much and the pacing is off :/ At least the ED is addicting x)
