wow, that's an awesome list! :)
Yeah, 23 and 24 have the most nostalgic feel. When those songs came on at the end of the anime it converted me to the soundtrack. Also, the prologue piano song at the beginning has a similar powerful effect. The prologue from the OST has the guy talking throughout it, which is kind of annoying when I just want to hear the music. So, I just listen to it from piano covers that others have made of it. Baccano by itself is a great anime, but when you add the sound on top it makes it perfect!
That's cool that you used a Baccano song for a jazz project haha not too many people would expect good jazz to come from japan. Was it for a music class?
In addition to your list, here are some other songs that I like:
#6 Kioku no Tegami- relaxing
#9 Ohiru no Gunman to Makka na Odoriko- just a good weird song
#12 Yurumikitta Kannou no Dance- it's a fun song. I think it plays when Ladd and Lua are dancing.
#13 Abikyoukan no Kurutta Butai- epic Baccano song
#19 Nise Orchestra no Kanbi na Hibiki and #22 Tsumugidasu Toiki- these are nice creepy songs.
I agree!! :) Baccano is one of those series that when you finish, you just feel edified (that is a strange word, but I couldn't think of anything else lol) I don't think there is a single character in Baccano that I could not come up with a list of why I think they are interesting. I loved the time jumping and the multiple character point of views Baccano used. It made it all that much cooler when it all came together! It also adds to the rewatch value just like you said because I discover new things each time I watch it. And yes, the OST is really good! I didn't think that I would like jazz until I watched Baccano. I listen to the OST frequently. What are some of your favorite songs from it? I know most of the titles are in japanese so Ill understand if you can't name any.
