Hey, first review here! Please feel free to give me feedback!
Zankyou no Terror is one of my top favorite anime of this summer season, and even if just for the experience, it should be watched.
--Story (8):
The plotline is refreshingly different from many other anime of the same genre. The concept of terrorism is not necessarily anything new, and the actions taken by our main characters seem to remind most people of Death Note.
This isn't going to become some kind of comparison essay of ZnT to other anime, but it certainly feels very different in relation to other shows. Even if you can predict the

events that occur throughout, the execution of such events is clever and leaves you satisfied. There was definitely room for more backstory, which is where I had to refrain from giving this section a full 10. Overall, though, the story is great to follow.
--Art (10):
Loved it. The art is very clean and detailed, with cooler tones that give ZnT a feel unique to itself. The explosions from bombs are wonderfully animated, too.
--Sound (9):
ZnT has some of the most unique yet beautiful soundtrack music of any show I have ever watched. Mostly the music very poignant and fit the emotion of the scene extremely well.
--Character (7):
If there were one thing that I would say the anime fell short of doing, it was character development. I didn't find many problems in most of the characters that stayed generally the same, and it was also easy to get attached to almost all of the cast, but at times I still feel a little disappointed in how static they are.
However, what development existed was usually both forced and rushed, and often I would be confused: I found that there was almost no reason for some of the changes that occurred to certain people. Given that the show is only 11 episodes, I can understand why the writers could not find the time to fit in very crucial development; but they DID change specific characters in ways that almost estranged me. Although not huge, I did feel this was the most prominent flaw in the anime.
--Overall (9):
Overall a very nicely-made anime. Often it could easily manipulate my emotions and bring me to tears, anger, or the occasional laughter. It was a pleasure to watch it over the course of several weeks and I hope many others find it as wonderful as I do!
