Both of these manga have a similar vibe. The male protagonists of both also improve their 'stats' unconventionally. There are also some plot similarities. I think that if you enjoyed one you would enjoy the other.

Charlotte really reminded me of both seasons of Tokyo Ghoul combined. From the way in which certain group are targeted (sometimes in a very cruel way) for what they are and how the main character tries to take the burden of putting an end to that on himself. I found the Ken/Touka and Nao/Yuu relationships to be quite similar. Also both anime had at times a sad/desperate/tragic tone to them.
