I expected this to be a stereotypical love drama and I was not incorrect in that assumption. However, as the slow, repetitive episodes lingered and the characters followed suit; I realized that the characters themselves began to mean more and more. Usually character development and change is the inciting factor for the overall and continued endearment of a character, but in Suzuka, the impervious resolution of the characters to stick to who they are, is actually their most charming characteristic.
