ok I felt a review should be written by someone who actually likes this anime. Its another one of those otomate games adapted into an anime. 12 roughly 15m long episodes.
I think where all the negatively and let downs are coming from are really due to expectations in the wrong direction. if you take a step back it originated from a dating game. a dating game that put the player into a harlem. much like real life dating; people have different taste in their relationships. this is directed at the individuals that enjoy masochism.

the anime served its purpose. it gave masochistic anime fan girls/boys a sequel and was entertaining.
The story line was decent a bit floppy, but there weren't holes. the animation was stunning, with a nice steam punk/visual kei/ Victorian look. movement wasn't awkward, picture frames were consistent. I quite enjoyed the sound, the voices actors were perfect along with the other background noises. There was character development not a lot but it was there, a lot of good strong character in attitude and appearance, all the typical lover boy types were thrown in ie. lazy, smart, shota, self-loathing, and the egotistical in your face.
overall if youre not into masochism youre not going to enjoy this anime, you'll probably be repulsed. on the flip side if you do, you'll quite enjoy it, and carry on (:
