Characters are ok. but kazami and parv were are far the least interesting characters. freddie is annoying
alus is basically a stubborn boomer AI. His motivation is so hilarious that you may not feel for him. (some people feel for him but imo he's not worth feeling sorry for)
The end was pretty rushed. Directing of the show was off cuz some cut-in scenes were unnecessary. For example hinata's arrow ceremony for the prayer of hope killed the entire re:rising scene although re:rising has a bad lower body itself.
All I can say is try, divers and re:rise failed to exceed OG build fighters.

Is it better than og divers. yes. is it exciting. nope. from characters facing 1st world problems that you want to laugh about to AI lives matter. It has a story but presents boring things.
Even the deaths in this show is not even shocking at all. It has interesting designs. the music comes off as meh. Basically it's a generic build show that tries too hard since try but is better than try. The show doesn't seem to takes its fights seriously as well. Basically with all the existing stakes it doesn't seem to stimulate the mind enough due to how light it ...

Looking back at this anime, it was too advanced for its' time. Till today gundam anime like Age, G-Reco, Iron Blooded Orphans are unable to hold a candle to this series in terms of plot, art(especially art) and enjoyment. It is truly a pioneer of 21st century Gundam. I won't compare Unicorn, and Origins as they are OVAs rather than series. The beauty of this anime comes to show how present day anime has gone down to low budget art styles which is a shame to see regression instead of going forward.
This anime is a good sci-fi representation of the Anno Domini many years ...

So I decided to give this show go and I still stopped at episode 13. Main reason because is due to this show being an eye rape. The art style would have been popular back in 1970+. Yeah the OG grandpa gundam was no bae i will give you that but I was able to bear with it since it came out way before i was born. G-reco is in the 21st frigging century.
The decline started notably in Age when we had oddly shaped gundams. took a real peak in g-reco with the cute g-self. and well each episode looked like it had no AA ...

There were definitely major plot issues after the first cour. Second cour was quite cramped. The love triangle was lazy till it was barely noticeable.(should have been one true pairing all the way). The rush in the second cour really dampened character development especially the main characters. Songs are mostly wonderful with some okay ones. The battles were great during the first cour, not that great during the second cour. Some mysteries weren't completely resolved.
Art was good. If you are in it for the girls, they are great alright. Makina and Freyja being cuter than Ranka Lee. Kaname and Reina being cool. Mikumo's really hot. Despite ... |
