+ Both are focused on group of girls doing some funny and cute things. + Both are very lighthearted and calming. Recommended, if you tired of these dark, depressing shows and just want to relax. Art, music, comedy and these little pieces of drama are better executed in Non Non Biyori, but it doesn't mean that Tamayura is bad series - it`s actually kind of enjoyable and sweet OVA, especially if you like this type of anime - I suppose, that Non Non Biyori is just too good. So, if you already finished all your calming anime and want more, trying Tamayura could be a good choice.

Hori-san to Miyamura-kun

Both series are heavily focused on romance. They also involve a certain type of relationship`s descriptions in which some things left untold and viewer should catch them by himself. Although Hori-san to Miyamura-kun is short OVA (just 3 episodes), it`s still pretty sweet and touching anime, as well as Toradora. Also, for me lead girls in these series both got interesting personalities. As Toradora and romance anime fan, i really enjoyed Hori-san to Miyamura-kun, and i think that other romance fans could find this anime really appealing.

Both series are about hard work for achieving great goals. Although these shows are about absolutely different activities, plot is about the same - our protagonist(s) fails a number of times, but work a lot through hard times and becoming better and better. Both seem pretty realistic. These shows also contain the same type of romance which is lighthearted and sweet. I really think that if you enjoyed Bakuman you should watch Baby steps - you don`t even need to know anything about tennis because screenwriters explain all rules in 3-4 sentences. Good luck! ;)
