The idea in Keijo!!!!!!!! I think is the perfect fit for an anime format where no idea is too crazy, on top of that despite the sport being fictitious, I felt that the world created around the idea was well-fleshed out(tehehe flesh). Of course there were a lot of fan-service in the anime. On a show where girls in their swimsuits who used their butts and boobs to win a match, only a fool would think otherwise, and yet despite a myriad of these fan-services I think that what is in the center; a story about a group of girls who are busting their butts
...
out(tehehe) trying to overcome their shortcomings and believing and following their dreams of becoming a professional athlete, is a breath of fresh air from the usually male-dominated genre.
The plot move along very nicely. Usually in animes where the battles are very intensive, the other part of the plot would feel tedious or get boring really fast, but when I was watching this show I didn't feel it at all.
Now about the sound, there's not much to be said, the background music fit nicely with the scene being portrayed and at some parts I think they were using like a live orchestra type music which reminded me of Family Guy. Why did I give it a 10? Because the sound effects for the skills were hilarious! Seriously, it cracks me up to see a butt makes a sound similar to a firearm.
As for the art, it's pretty much the same quality as other new anime out there, I didn't find any problem with it at all.
Now, why I think this anime is a masterpiece (mASSterpiece, tehehehe) because it managed to combine several aspects which I like from other anime so harmoniously. That is from the sport genre and the fighting genre. You get that competitive vibe you would get from a sport genre anime from it and also that fighting vibe from the skills that the characters develop and how the arena where the characters fight kind of change, opening new types of strategy, unlike other sport anime where the arena is usually the same. Plus usually when it's a sport anime, the setting would probably be in an academic school so the sport would be like an extra activity in the lives of the characters, but in Keijo the sport itself is the main choice for the character instead of an additional option so it made a lot of sense why they are trying so hard.
As for the characters, I kind of feel that the development feel somewhat lacking, they were pretty much archetypal but in a good sense. But I seriously think that the main character could do with some more elaboration because I feel that the supporting characters have more background than the main character and the focus kind of shifted on them instead.
All in all, I enjoy Keijo thoroughly, it's an easy watch and you don't get too hung up on the characters too much, the story is light and you could just relax and let go when watching this anime, also the references in the show were pretty funny.

This is an anime which I watched when I was younger, so my judgement of it is somewhat coloured by nostalgia. Having expressed that here is what I thought of it:
What is Yakitate!! Japan? In short, a cooking anime. Is that all there is to it? Hell to the no! If you're a fan of puns and word play like myself you would definitenitenitely enjoy the jokes on the show. I grew up watching this show, and this show is probably the reason why I have always enjoyed word play and puns until now. Not only that but the reactions that happened when the food
...
on the show is tasted were always hilarious, I lost count on how many times the show made me laughed out loud from the general randomness sprayed around the episodes. And of course the references they showed on them killed me.
The characters themselves were very funny and memorable, also despite their following archetypal roles I in no way find them boring, and their motivations were satisfactorily explained.
What I really like is despite the show being a cooking anime it has that fighting anime feel to it and that manly man ideals which you could find in fighting anime. Also at the end of each episodes there is a sort of fun fact bit which I always find interesting.
As for the story itself, it has a simple premise and yet the show took it to ridiculous levels. It started fairly slow, and then slowly it picked up momentum and things started to get super fun super fast. The only problem I had with the story was I didn't quite like the ending, it felt rushed and didn't successfully deliver the impact I was expecting from it, but that is just my opinion.
I have no problem with the sound and the art, but after being used to newer animes with slick lines, beautiful colour palette, and wonderful background music, I think giving it a 7 and an 8 is pretty fair.
The only problems I had with the show were the ending and the character development which was no longer explicitly shown unlike at the start to the middle of the series. (I so wanted to give it a 10, but I can't...)
In summary, if you're looking for a light anime to watch Yakitate!! Japan with its hilarious humor and randomness might be something you might enjoy, I know I did.

Disclaimer: This review will be extremely subjective and following the spirit of the show will be flavoured with obscenity. You have been warned!
Now that I got that out of the way, let's get down to bees knees!
What is this anime?
It's an unapologetic, super stylistic, super lewd, but super good anime rife with pop culture references that sticks to its essence from start to end.(I did this for the rhymes, bruh!)
What is that essence?
...
Absurdity!
The premise itself is quite simple. Two disgraced angels forced to "community service" in a city of sinners so that they can get back to heaven. But what was born out of that simplicity is something I haven't seen before.
If you decided to watch it you'll embark on a quest with two fallen angels in a city of sinners in an absurd journey filled with hilarious characters, ludicrous situations , a couple of gratuitous moe-ments, an array of lewd subjects, and satirical depictions ranging from other media to sexual things told through a super stylistic art and dynamic scenes that makes the action sequences pop. *draws breath
And yet with its heavy load(tehehehe) of lewd materials, the show successfully managed not to break the hymen of hentai and delivered an orgasmic experience anyway.
Also the music really fits the whole thing, which is always good.
This show is what it is. It's completely honest with itself and doesn't try to be more than what it is; a light, lewd, fun, comedy anime full of absurd things. That is why I think this anime is wonderful, because it's different and it's proud of it's uniqueness.
Is it for everyone?
Heeeelll No!!
Should you watch it when your family members are around without earphones on?
Heeeelll No!!
Is it good?
Heeeelll Yes!!

I have just finished watching it.
I had to take a breather before writing this review.
I'll try not to spoil anything, and be as laconic as I could without sacrificing my views on the movie itself.
Okay, here goes.
The theme of the story has been done before on other mediums, but I can certainly say(having watched countless movies/anime sharing similar theme) that they managed to made it their own. The story started as what one would expect after reading the synopsis, but then it twists and turns into a heartwarming story about love and fate. The inclusion of cultural aspects into the plot is really refreshing.
...
The visual was presented beautifully using colours to give nuances which helps the narrative. Soundtrack-wise it was really enchanting because they intertwined with the scene harmoniously.
Information about the characters was not shown in expositional narrative, meaning I have to infer how the characters feel about other characters from the scenes shown which is something that I find pleasant and is usually missing nowadays. The characters themselves are quite charming, but due to how the story was told their development was not that visible, but I think for movies choosing to go this way is not bad.
Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't find a boring moment in it. The movie itself was around 90 minutes long I think, but it felt like 30 because I was really enthralled by the journey.
tl;dr
I'm a twenty something guy, and at the end I came close to crying.
It's that good.
I hope this review helped.

I really like this anime so much that I feel compelled to make a review.
As an avid time-travel related work connoisseur(not really), there are several reasons why I think this anime is sublime.
Shall we delve deeper into my mind then? Here goes:
The story was amazing because first, the main driving force of the anime itself, the idea is unique. Second, the story was revealed in such a way that you can really feel the ups and downs. If I should compare it, I guess I would compare it to listening to an orchestra playing music.
Art wise I don't have any problem with it, and considering
...
it's been out for quite a while it's pretty solid compared to anime nowadays.
The characters were very memorable, the relationships between them, their development and motivations seemed very natural and were clearly shown in the show. For example the main character was very immature at the start but he slowly became more mature later on and I can see the transformation. I feel as though it's really easy to connect with them and it's not due to their lack of depth.
Another strong point for this anime is how the background music really suits the situations. They always seem to add more weight to help the narrative.
I thoroughly enjoyed Steins;Gate, I would definitely recommend this if you enjoy sci-fi, time-travel, and stories which carry weight. I don't think this series is in anyway inferior to some big budget Hollywood movie, in fact I believe it's quite the opposite.
Beware the first few episode you might feel just as in the dark as the main character, but when you get it, it will take off. If you don't like stories which makes you think, or you're looking for something light, I don't think Steins;Gate might suit you.
I hope this review has been useful, and if you do intend to watch Steins;Gate, enjoy!
