Let me make this short and simple — this anime is so. boring. don’t watch it. There is absolutely 0 depth to the main characters and 0 depth to the plot.
There is no build up whatsoever to the romance between the characters. Yuki likes Itsuomi because he’s hot and he’s nice to her. Itsuomi likes Yuki because…??? She’s like a blank slate?? Yuki’s personality is shallow; 90% of the show is her freaking out about Itsuomi interacting with her in any way, which includes him being weirdly touchy with her from the start.
Itsuomi is just dull and his only appeal is that he’s ... nice to look at and speaks a lot of languages. He begins favoring Yuki from the get-go with no build up or explanation and immediately just starts acting possessive of her and essentially invading her space. But of course it’s fine because she likes him and he’s hot !!!
Aside from the boring characters, the plot isn’t interesting in any way either. There are side characters but they weren’t appealing enough to make me want to keep watching. Honestly I applaud myself for getting six episodes of this anime in before deciding to drop it.
The single positive thing i can say about this show is that it’s pretty to look at.
