At first glance, Lucky Star seemed to be just a group of cheerleaders just going through high school, but after finally deciding to actually watch the anime, my opinion changed completely.
You could say that Lucky Star has no plot whatsoever, but if there were to be one, it's just basically, "The Daily Life of Highschool Girls" That's literally all the anime is about.
But, it somehow managed to keep you fully entertained for the whole 24 episodes, not to mention that the humor is pretty on-point, especially when Konata and Kagami is involved.
This show isn't the funniest that I've seen, but sometimes, the humor could leave
...
you gasping for breath.
For a lot of people, when they first start Lucky Star, they describe it to be...boring. I do agree with that statement, but a lot of people didn't even bother to watch the rest of the episodes after seeing episode 1. After episode 5, the episodes now show improvement, and become even more enjoyable than when it first started.
In my opinion, Lucky Star is one of the best slice of life anime out there, and actually inspired a lot of other slice of life series. Even if it still has its flaws, like every single anime that I have seen myself, it's definitely recommended.
