I'm not a big fan of harem anime. Often it's literally all about the luscious boobs, round butts, and how perverted the main character can be or oblivious to all of the above. This anime... was different.
There's the harem aspect, where he keeps collecting different types of girls, but there's actually a really well done story along the way. My friend was the person that recommended this anime to me, but I'd been planning on reading the manga (but also never got around to it) in the first place. I just thought that the whole concept just seemed funny.
