TL;DR in the 'overall section'
"I've experienced many different lives, but there's always something I regret in almost every life"
Link Click, a show having easily one of the best first episode I've ever seen even if you not into Time Travel genre, this show is extremely easy to get into, the rules of time traveling gets established in the few few minutes and they are simple enough to require no explanation.
...
This show is seem completely episodic at first as the main plot only began surfacing in the latter half of the series,
While the 'mini' stories are dedicated on personal, and the thriller aspect of the show, the main storyline focuses on the consequences of the MCs unintentionally messing with the past and also bringing mystery to the table.
The show explores heavy concepts like the butterfly effect, predestination paradox in the main storyline(doesn't complicate the show and are subtle) and sticks to thrilling and emotional writing in the 'mini' stories, talking of them, they are the true highlights of this season, every story is a rollercoaster full of emotions, thrills and cliffhanging episode endings.
Story: 8/10
The story writing is amazing on the sub-plots, all the characters featuring on them are very well developed considering their 1-2 episode(s) screen time. As I told before these are truly rollercoasters of emotions and thrills. (sub-rating 10/10)
The 'main' plot however is lacking, kicks off pretty late in the story considering the 'main' plot and doesn't explain anything important like MCs' relationship with each other, their power origins, also little to no development on MCs except the protag(*more on the character section). (sub-rating 4/10)
Art: 9/10
I really love this webtoony artstyle, the backgrounds look amazing and shading is neat. No complains.
Music/Sound: 10/10
The OP/ED are the best part of the show for me, Even when the show would end at the worst cliff hanger, my fingers refuse to skip the ED.
Also the OSTs are great, adding even more dramacity(I just made that word up) to the dramatic scenes.
Character: 5/10
Keeping aside the sub-plots' characters (As I told before they are great considering their screen time)
From what I see, the only character that got any 'real' development is our protag- the blackhair guy
and other dude feels like a new character in every episode for me(maybe his motives, backstory accidently got deleted from the script, who knows?)
What? there was a supporting girl character in the series? pffffffffft
the protag also gets a little,... little annoying after a while... won't say more, I maybe standing very close to the spoilers territory.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I loved this show despite its lacking plot and character development, The 'mini' plots were amazing to me, felt like a cover up for their main plot but I think that's just because this season is dedicated to MC's exploring their powers, the next season will hopefully develop the main plot and bring massive development to the MCs
also the cliffhangers on every single freaking episode will almost make anyone binge the entire series
enjoyed a lot
TL:DR/Overall: 9/10
[I highly prioritize 'enjoyment' in the overall rating]
Definitely a show worth to try,
the subplots are highlights of the show, the main plot and MCs are lackluster in development
Artstyle is straight out of a web comic, I like it(subjective)
OP/ED are AMAZING(subjective my ass)
Try the first episode, that's basically how the entire series is.
feeling really restraint making the review spoiler free, will prolly write an another review(with spoilers) of this series in the future
