One Piece is simply amazing. The length for me isn't a bug but a feature. There is such a deep pool of characters that are just as fleshed out and inspiring as side characters as the main cast of pirates and the action isn't mindless spectacle. If this story were a few hundred chapters, the highs and lows of it would not hit nearly as hard. I've never cried so much reading a manga and been so excited to see a character achieve things. I feel about these characters the way I do about friends irl and seeing how loving the crew is to each ... other, all of whom are misfit toys so to speak, is beautiful.

If you're starting it, please take your time and don't rush through stories. There is a saying I've heard about it that goes that there is too much One Piece until there is not enough. Once you've caught up, that's it. You're waiting with the rest of us each week for a new chapter to drop and blow your mind again and again. If I could start again, I would have tried less to look things up when I got confused and inadvertently spoiled things for myself. There is a huge element of mystery to this story and sometimes things happen that will make you question if you missed a detail when, no, you probably didn't and that answer is waiting in the next chapter or arc. Oda does a good job of circling back on important things from volumes prior to make sure you don't forget things or if you missed something, you are aware now. Trust the process and most importantly take time to analyze the panels. Read the chapter cover stories that do a good job of making the world feel grander than just what is happening with Luffy and the gang.

I know so many amazing people who are fans of this series. It has had the chance to be told over two decades and a half decades because it is so good that people are willing to tune in week after week to see these characters, their struggles, the world building, and to see what the heck the One Piece is. Obviously the ending will have to land flawlessly for it to have re-readability, but honestly even if the One Piece turns out to be one gold coin or something, it will have all been worth it for me.

For it being at the bottom of the list for popularity at the time of me writing this, it is surprisingly interesting. I watched it on IMDb and was scared because the description and visuals looked sickening, but actually it was just cool. Gory as hell and definitely NSFW and for 17+, but I would say you can watch it and not be up all night or anything. I've seen worse anime that remained in my brain for years that are very popular horror. I'd say give it a try. It is almost 5 minutes long and free.

The whole thing is a music video where ... these people on an island playing before a monster with a big dick and balls comes and cums on their building. They fight it by slicing it's dick open and then a giant female monster shoved this dick up itself and bleeds on everything.

Maybe I'm just effed in the head, but this seemed really cool.
