Highschool of the Dead is very mediocre. Taking the normal concept of a zombie flim and just tranforming it into an anime. This is a good and also a bad thing for many reasons. Also fanservice.... Lots and lots of fanservice
Stroy 2/10
Have you seen the Walking Dead? Or any show like that well this one no differnt unless you count the fact its an anime. One of my biggest problems with the story is the fact that no one really dies in the show that important kind of removing the tension of who gonna die or will they make it out alive.

The art

and animation is really pleasing and overall really nice. The animation really stand out during the fight sences. They very rarely use sill images and Matrix Boobs are just amazing.
Sound 7/10
The music and voice acting is really good even for the english dub the only problem being that less important characters are not really that good in the english dub.
As for music i have to say that the sound track is enjoyable and i found myself searching up some of the songs very often
Characters 2/10
The characters are not really the best. There is your nerd, your needy bitch, the badass, and the boring main character just to name a few none of them really change or devople in the story but you will find then enjoyable for other reason.
Enjoyment 8/10
While HtoD was able to keep me hook with its animtion, art and yes fanservice this show was very enjoyable. HotD is more something you would put on if you would like to have a good time then watch a intresting stroy.

Its not great and its not bad being honest i am kind of mix on the show. Some will love it for the animation or the boobs while other will hate it for its poor character and boring story. I would say if you enjoy zombies or jjust want to have a good time and do not care for the large amount of fanservice then watch HotD. I'm sure you will enjoy it
