Anything that's not rated on my completed list is something I can't remember well enough to give a fair score. Usually this is stuff I haven't looked at since my early teens.
Also, my manga list is EXTREMELY out of date and cleaning it up is a pretty low priority atm.
N/A - Either not completed, I've not revisited it in some time so my opinions could have changed, or I can barely remember it. I like putting some confidence behind my scores.
1 - Appalling. How did it come to this? What was anyone of the creative staff thinking? It should be impossible to be this bad. And yet here we are.
2 - The only positive I can take from it is a lesson on how to do everything wrong. Alternatively: forgettable.
3 - There's some good, but the rest of it is so sour the entire thing feels spoiled anyway. And that stings. At least I have something to rant about.
4 - Just shy of leaving me entirely neutral. You were so close to acceptable my dude.
5 - Truly average. Nothing bad, but nothing I haven't seen before. (I also use 5 as a starting point for rating rather than 0. As in, I assume everything is a 5 at the beginning and then adjust as I go)
6 - An okay time. Probably not something I'll ever revisit, but I'll be hard pressed to say it left a truly bad impression.
7 - Something I believe 90% of people will enjoy on some level. A good popcorn flick. Ironically good stuff fits here too.
8 - Themes! Characterization! Substance! Great art/animation/OSTs/the works! I genuinely care about what happens! Would recommend to pretty much anyone.
9 - Could probably write a book on all the good it does. Likely to be seen at least twice.
10 - Reserved for my all time favourites. You can typically consider them 9's, with the deciding difference being that they strike a strong cord with me on a personal level. Take that as you will! You can also view my top five 10's below.
