Clannad is mostly regarded as either one of the saddest anime while having a magnificent storyline and character development.
The story itself was well done overall, it wasn't one of those anime that would keep you at the edge of your seat instead it was more subtle and was just a anime you just want to keep watching. The theme of this anime is Slice-Of-Life which basically tells the story of an individual or many others, I personally love SOL animes in general so even if you aren't into this genre still give it a shot let me explain more.
The art in this anime was good

but not fantastic, it wasn't overdone to a point where it isn't an anime anymore it generally just followed the classic style of high school anime which included the never changing Japanese high school uniform and etc. The main protagonists were drawn in a way where they look anything but normal, which in a way I like.
Character development was grand, it featured some misunderstandings but never were their ones that were never resolved or misunderstood. Each character had their own little personality which differentiated them from just a plain old tsundere, yandere etc.
Overall the enjoyment factor was there for me, which always made me think about what would happen next and many other deep thoughts.
Overall I give it a 9!
