Hey I'm Alex, I've been watching anime off and on for a long time. Horror and supernatural are my favorite genres, all though I do branch out every now and then... If you have a suggestion leave it below for me. :D
Well for starters...I recommend Another, Shiki, and Higurashi as the Top 3 horror.
Their setting itself gives a very dark mood. The plot is serious 99.9% of the time and they are all very thrilling.
H! I just want to say that I like your reviews! Especially how you express how you feel about them. Most reviews I see are more professional in a sense that they don't really tell me the feeling you get from watching them. Keep it up! I really recommend that you read the Ghost Hunt manga because there is a real conclusion to it then especially about Kazuya's past and who he really is.

If you liked Elfen Lied check out Gokukoku no Brynhildr. A few other suggestions off the top of my head: Shikabane Hime, Ga-Rei: Zero, and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia.

yes a vary nice review i been meaning to read the manga but i keep putting it on the back burner for some reason. anyway i enjoyed Tasogare Otome x Amnesia it has a good supernatural theme good mystery as well, then it has romance to tie it into a neat little package.
