- Both shows about boxing - Both characters are naturally gifted in the sport. - They Both rise quickly in their individiual weight class. - There are ups and downs in show, emotionally. - They both grow up in the show. They go from kids to adults. - The shows are different in how the protagonists are different. The protagonist in Ashita no joe is very aggressive and lonely, but has always known what he is good at, fighting. On the other side the protagonist in hajime no ippo is very timid and has always had some family around him, but he had to find out about what he was good at.
I think they have a similar feel to them. - They are both about finding yourself, accepting yourself and finding motivation. - There is an age gap between the main characters where one is in highschool where the other is in college. But the cast in 3-gatsu no lion is very varied with its characters, so it makes up for it if you are looking for a mature story. - Both shows gives you the feels. - They can both be very heartwarming. - Great characters in both shows.
- Both Shows are reincarnation themed. - Both protagonist build a new cities with fantasy creatures. - The protagonists both gain in allies in the same way, by sharing their powers with them.
- Both are about classical music. - Characters grow up and mature in both shows. - Centered around piano as the main instrument, although Nodame Cantabile has a more wide array of charaters who play different instruments.
- Both Series are gory - Both series deals with war (Though Berserk is fantasy with mosters and such, where kingdom is set in china during the warring states period. Kingdom also deals a lot more with Politics) - Both series have great art - Both are very long running and ongoing series Both are 10/10 in my oppinion
In both shows. the main guy enter an declining team. In one outs(baseball) as a pitcher, and in Giant killing(Soccer) as a coach. They turn the team around and make them good again/or carry the team.
Both very chill shows, and they are both somewhat about agriculture.
School setting, and protagonists who are skilled in everything they do ;)
Both shows about classical music.
Both protagonists are newbies to their individual sport, but they both rise in skill very quickly and become badasses :)
Both Series about dance.
Both series has a protagonist who is fighting against their inabilities, but stil pushes forward. But the personalities of the protagonists are quite different.
Humans born into another wold, but as different creatures. It makes an interesting and fun twist to the "born into another world" genre.
Both are supernatural martial arts series, with some kickass art. Though Tenjou Tenge's art evolves throughout the series.
They are both great at potraying each of the cultures in both series very accurately. Vindland saga is about vikings, where Vagabond is about Samurai/Ronin's.
