Personally, I'm always hesitating on watching Ghibli movies. The same things happen with Kaze Tachinu and Omoide no Marnie. However, in the end, i end up loving them, including Kokurikozaka Kara. There are always one or two brilliant things on each movies which hook me up and for Kokurikozaka Kara, the music and story do hook me up. That doesn't mean the other aspects are bad.
Story :
The story is mainly about a young boy and girl daily lives which happen to have romance between them, but be careful with the plot twist. Simple? Yes, the story is simple and light. Just because its story is
...
simple and light, that doesn't make it's a mediocre anime. No. Personally, i think for movie class anime with a simple and light kind of story, its story is well written and worth your time.
Art :
Maybe this is the thing which make me hesitate to watch every Ghibli movies. Mostly, Studio Ghibli movies have the same kind of art, so does Kokurikozaka Kara. The art is so unique that it makes me hesitate to watch. Retro? No. Bad? No. Great? can't say. I get the feeling that Studio Ghibli kind of art is the mixing result of Anime and American Cartoon. But, don't mind that. The art is good enough and fit the story so much.
Sound :
11/10, If only the review rating system would support this. The song theme and other music background are well placed and good to listen. They fit so much with the story. I even save all of the soundtrack to my phone so i could listen to them all the time i want to. It's so rare to find movies or series like Kokurikozaka Kara which have a great composition of music soundtrack.
Character :
There's not much comment on this part since i really don't have anything to review on this part (if you have read my previous review, you will know the reason). But, one thing for sure both of the MC are lovable.
Enjoyment :
I do enjoy this movie since i love this kind of story, eventhough i hesistated to watch it first.
Overall :
The movie is great and enjoyable. The music is perfect. The story is so simple and light, yet entertaining. I see this as an absolute win. 9/10

This is the first anime that is written by Adachi sensei which lead me to his other works and ended up loving them. If you take a look at my profile, Adachi sensei is my favourite creator alongside his other works ended up as my favorites manga and anime. But, let's focus on Cross Game first.
Story:
At the rating part, i would have given this 12/10 if possible, why? Because the story is just too outstanding. Who said sport + romance and a little bit slice of life ended up as a boring subject? Well you might be wrong, cross game has proved it. Focusing on
...
Kitamura Kou in fulfilling his promise with Wakaba to become a pitcher as good as Aoba. Well, that's what Cross Game is all about. While focusing on that part, a lot of things happen, drama, friendship, and even too-many-sided romance. All of that things mixed in one baseball based masterpiece anime. Jump aside from its main plot, the character development with 50 episodes is done perfectly. No more question left alongside the characters plot and background, and also there's no sudden power up in this anime, but beware of the shounen tag (you know what i mean).
Art:
The art is great and matched enough with the vibes of this series. It's not too bright like Violet Evergarden, Clannad, Kimi no Na Wa, etc, but it's good enough to support the positive vibes of this series. The art is okay, trust me.
Sound:
OMG this is another positive point of this anime. The OP song is just too great and not boring at all, eventhough it is used from the 1st episode and the last episode. The ED also, all of them are good-to-listen music and some of them really matched the plot in the series, for example "Koikogarete Mita Yume", the 1st ED song, does match and even increase the whole vibe in one biggest and important plot in this series, no further explanation because it might spoil the anime.
Character:
Lovable. All of the character in this series lovable enough despite its art which is not Kimi no Na wa enough. Why? because the personality of each character is placed and played well enough. Eventhough there's shounen tag, but trust me the MC is not that shounen enough to ruin the entire series (you know what i mean). Even there's one character which is only shown in some episodes but its role affect the others character until the end of the series.
Enjoyment:
I truly enjoy this anime from the 1st episode until the last episode. Laugh, cry, anger, heart-touching, and all others feeling are expressed in this baseball based anime. No part is dissapointing enough to make me hate this series. Masterpiece.
Overall:
Overall, i would say this is one of the most underrated anime that needs more attention. How can a series which is this great doesn't get enough appreciation? C'mon this drama nowadays need to learn from this anime.
Oh yeah, i would say one more thing. This anime doesn't focus too much on the baseball, so pay attention to other tags which is most likely the most suitable tag on this series.

Frist of all i want to tell you that this is the 2nd 3DCG anime that i have finished watching (the first one is Standby Me Doraemon) and i haven't read the manga which is this anime adapted of, so some of my opinion might be different to some of the readers. Let's get this started.
Story :
Let's recap the main story of this anime first. Taking place in Japan (ofc) decades after the last fight of Ultraman, the earth which is now in peace because of some agreement between earth alliance and outer planet, got terrorized by some evil alien (human-sized version of Kaijuu). Knowing
...
this SSSP, the organization who fights against alien/kaiju and in which the previous host of the Ultraman work, and other party show their fangs once again by introducing a new iron-man-look-alike armor which will be used by the Ultraman. Long short story, this anime took a different route from what we used to know about Ultraman franchise. Eventhough this is so much different from what i know Ultraman is, i quite enjoy the story. We still can see and epic fight between this new version of Ultraman againts aliens or maybe Ultraman against Ultraman, who knows? Either way, the fight scene of this anime is the thing which you can't hate tbh. Moreover, there's more than one Ultraman in this series. Unfortunately, you can't see Ultraman Tiga, Cosmos, Mebius or even Orb in this series. Overall, this kind of story is not boring enough to make you hate Ultraman franchise and satisfying enough for a nostalgia.
Art :
I'm not a fans of 3DCG anime or someone who enjoy 3DCG anime a lot, but i would say that the art of this series is pretty good and solid. The art does match the vibes of this series. Especially, the animation on the fighting scene is pretty solid and increase the positive vibes of this series. However, i don't know if i was watching with a slow-speed internet or not, but the frame rate of this series is not good, unstable if i can say, so maybe this is the weakest part of this series according to my opinion.
Sound :
Nice seiyuu (checked), Suitable ending song (checked), No useless music background (checked), Perfect opening song (crossed). It's such a shame that this interesting series doesn't have any opening song to support the vibes.
Character :
The variety of personality of the characters on this series is the next good point of this anime. Anti-hero, anti-villain, annoying shounen MC, and many more, you can see them in this series.
Overall :
For you who loves Ultraman franchise or maybe those who love 3DCG action anime, give this show a try. It's not that great, yet it's not that bad, so it won't waste your time. The action scene is kind of great, tbh, so for the last time, give this show a try.

Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai A.K.A I Want to Eat Your Pancreas is indeed a heart touching romance, with a similiar plot as Your Lie in April. Unfortunately, it isn't as the same level as Your Lie in April, it could have been.
Story :
"I'm sick, and i'm about to die. I want to live the rest of my life with you, but please keep this disease as a secret between us" That's the summary of Kimi no Suizou wo Tabetai. Quite simple to be called a romantic movie, but enough to be called "melo"drama movie. As a melodrama movie, i would say this one
...
is great. I have no negative comment about the story, since this movie is focused on the drama, and it turns out to be a good drama.
Oh, one more thing about the story. The plot seems an anti-climax one, and it done it very well. I even get spoiled by the 1st scene of the drama, but it doesn't bore me. That's why i said this story is great. 9/10
Art :
The animation and art is pretty solid and smooth, no useless CGI and any other useless thing, but it doesn't mean it deserves 10/10. I would give it 9/10, because at the last (not that last) scene. I thought it was supposed to be a sad sad scene, but they make it so colourful which is not make senses to me. Overall the art is great, not perfect.
Sound :
This is the part that annoyed me personally. Both of the soundtrack song is great, but it was missplaced. They missplaces the song which could make a scene more lively and burst out the feels more. Shunkashuutou is supposed to be a sad song, but they played it at the end of the movie A.K.A credit scene. They could have used it in sad scene between the MC and the heroine. And also, some scenes were supposed to be a sad dan depressing scene, yet the backsound music which was played was a cheerful one. Missplaced and missused. 7/10
Character :
Mind if i skip this one? No comment, all characters play their roles perfectly, so does the seiyuu.
Enjoyment and Overall :
Overall this one is undoubtly a great anime. The story is great, so is the music (but not the placement). Supposed to be more heart touching, if only the music was played in perfect time. Give it a try. 8/10
Ps: This is my personal opinion. Don't get offended.

Good old days is coming back by watching this movie. I remember that my childhood hearttouching movies was like this. That's why it didn't surprised me, but it clearly make me cried for the first time since i watch anime.
Story :
Eventhough the above synopsis said that Flanders no Inu is about the friendship between a boy and a dog, actually it tells more than just that. Story about a poor young boy who lives with his grandfather in a countryside as a milk seller. You might have known what will happen next, but trust me keep watching it, you won't regret it.
Art :
I can't
...
expect much since this was aired in 1997 and made by Nippon Animation. If we were living in the that 1990, we could say that the art and animation is perfect, but by modern perspective those things aren't perfect, it's too simple. Nevermind the simplicity, because it was made in 1997.
Sound :
Talk about sound and ofc musics (ost), they sure have the most important parts to live up the feels of a story. Yup, this anime done it perfectly. No missplaced, missused, and any other miss. The song and music which are used in this movie, all are placed perfectly. As the result, this anime could hit your heart with the perfect music mixed at the perfect story parts at the same time.
Character :
I can't say much about the character since i can't judge how to say a character is good or bad. It all depends on how the script is written, and as long as the seiyuu is good, no problem. Well, suppose i could say that the character in this anime plays their role perfectly and the each seiyuu makes a great job.
Ps: Character is the hardest for me to be reviewed. Sorry.
Enjoyment :
Totally enjoyed. As i have said before, this is the first anime ever that make me cry (this cry means i totally cry, not just having some tears drop from my eyes). No comment for enjoyment, because this is the most heart touching anime that i've ever watched
Overall :
If you are looking a movie to watch with your family, i would recommend this one. And also it would be better if you watch this with your family or maybe alone at Christmas. There is no specific reason for it, but the anime vibes is clearly Christmas one.
Oh last but not least, about the moral lesson...... I'd rather skip this part because it may involve one religion in it.
Like Nike say "Just watch it".
