This was one of my favorite series. I guess I felt a connection to all the characters. In the past I've spent a lot of time in the music business. I've know the groupies. I've heard awful stories from bands about groupies. I know what its like to have a dream of being on stage... to surpass your role models. The characters are pretty true to the reality of the music world. On the flip side I do relate to Hachi (Nana). I was always easy to fall in love and have done many things in an attempt to influence someone to show me love.

It really never had a very good outcome, but I know where she's coming from. She's a REALLY exaggerated version of me, and of many other girls I'm sure.
The drama, the storyline, the romance, the hot guys... all aspects of this show I found amazing. The drawing is more detailed than generic anime, which I like. As silly as it sounds I won't watch an anime without at least one hot guy. I have to have some form of romance in my anime. Of course I think twisted relationships are even more interesting.
You find yourself loving characters, just to hate them later... and visa versa. The biggest thing though for me is the ending. It actually has a good ending which almost never happens, even though it falls under the 3 possible endings of a anime. I won't list them here cause you'll be able to guess the exact ending this one is, but feel free to read it in my profile.
I highly recommend this anime to anyone.
