The Synopsis for this show interested me and proposed the idea of "After powering up and beating the Big Bad what's next? Well why not join the Big Bad!" After watching the first few episodes it seemed to be a show about nation/army building like "How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" or "The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt". Both of which are a tad slow but I enjoyed them. I like fantasy, world building, and slice of life. This was going down that road so I added it to my list of shows to watch each week.

Then it ... got to the end of episode 5 and I went "Wait. Are they? Is THIS what's happening?" So I found the manga online and read the next chapter. I was right and I loved it. But instead of reading ahead I waited for the anime to get more.

Now episode 9 has come out. I guessed what was going to happen before it did and I'm hooked. I'll keep waiting to watch as the episodes come out but I'll probably pick it up with the manga at the end of the season.

I tried to keep this review vague. There will be people that get to the points I did and still not be interested in this show but I encourage you to watch through episode 6. If you finish episode 6 and don't like where its heading then by all means go find a different show that's more up your alley. But the first 3 episodes do not give you what this story is about.
