Skeleton Soldier: A Cut Above the Rest
Out of all the manhwa with a "leveling" theme, Skeleton Soldier reigns supreme. Here's why:
1. Seemingly Limitless Contents:
This "game" setting offers an insane amount of content for the MC to explore. We're talking evolutions, diverse skeleton skills, swordsmanship mastery, and even the inventory system itself. Not only that, the expertise of magic manipulation is being thought carefully, therefore there will be mechanical magical equipments, artifacts, and so on. This constant huge amount of contents and mysteries keeps readers on the edge of their seats, pondering, eager to see what's going to be new that await the MC and the
...
"game" world itself. It's safe to say this "game-like" genre has never seen such a vast and creative system for character progression.
2. A Refreshing Take on Regression:
Imagine Re:Zero, but with a power-fantasy Skeleton instead of a psychological struggle. That's Skeleton Soldier. While regression is already a fun trope, what makes Skeleton Soldier shine is the MC's lack of immediate invincibility. Sure, he's destined for greatness, but there are plenty of situations where he needs his wit and accumulated knowledge to overcome opponents with superior power. There's even a scenario where he's trapped in a regression loop unless he can defeat these stronger enemies even at "level 1." Now that's engaging!
3. A Trade-off: Depth for Fun:
Skeleton Soldier excels in both its vast and mysterious world and the sheer amount of creative content it throws at readers. However, character depth might not be its strongest suit. The main theme is just usual protecting women and upholding masculinity and dignity, it's cool, but they aren't super deep. But hey, who needs complex characters when the story is this much fun? The focus is clearly on the mystery of the world, abilities, progression, and, of course, protecting the waifus. And who can say no to that?
Conclusion:
Skeleton Soldier is a must-read. Each chapter and arc delivers a new dose of creative genius. The power progression is incredibly entertaining, a breath of fresh air compared to the overused tropes of overpowered cultivation or hunter class stories with bland characters. This is the crème de la crème, the absolute best in its genre. Forget FFF-Trash Hero, move past Solo Leveling (great as it is), and forget Murim Login – Skeleton Soldier reigns supreme in terms of pure enjoyment and creativity. The beautiful art design is just the icing on the cake. 9/10.

You know what? I'm going to be 100% honest about this. I dropped this series twice. Yes, you heard that right, twice. Because let's be real, Subaru's weakness and whining were enough to make anyone tap out. But the third time truly was the charm. This time, I actually paid attention to the conversations, the worldbuilding, the lore of the kingdoms, the queen candidates, the side characters... and voila! I was hooked.
Re:Zero is interesting. It's a deceptive gem, a psychological thriller cleverly disguised as a run-of-the-mill isekai. To be fair, a lot of us power fantasy enthusiasts (myself included) dive into isekai for that very
...
reason, which is why it turns off so many isekai watchers expecting the usual overpowered protagonist. But that's where Re:Zero truly shines – when you watch it for what it is, without preconceived notions.
Re:Zero is all about character development. That's why Subaru has so many flaws. You think it's just some weird quirk to make him quirky? Nope, there's a reason behind his whole "overconfident-yet-cringey" thing, and the author deserves major props for that.
The "Return by Death" ability isn't just a cheap trick to make the MC some overpowered god. There's a lot more thought put into it than that. Sure, he can't just keep dying and retrying his way to ultimate power. There are consequences, as Season 2 makes abundantly clear.
Once you see Re:Zero through the right lens, it's impossible to see it as anything but a masterpiece. In the current isekai landscape, there's simply nothing that can compete. Not Mushoku Tensei, not Slime, not Overlord, none of them.
Because no other isekai even comes close to Re:Zero, a 10/10 rating is the only fair judgment.

Okay, let's get this Murim Login review started! I'm a cultivation manhwa connoisseur, and this one... it's got something special. Imagine Solo Leveling, but if it actually made sense and didn't treat its side characters like cardboard cutouts.
So, Murim Login. Hunter world? Check. Murim world? Double check! It's like mixing Red Bull with your ginseng tea – that extra kick, you know? And our boy Jin, our MC, he's not your typical goody-two-shoes. He's got flaws, he's messy, and I can appreciate that. Shows he might actually grow a personality later, which ain't true for half the MCs out there. Murim Login is basically
...
Solo Leveling's smarter, better-looking cousin.
Now, don't get me wrong, Most power fantasy manhwas are great, but their pacing too fast at times. Meanwhile Murim Login sometimes feels a little slow. They actually try – gasp! – developing characters with proper storylines. It's a miracle! A refreshing change from the usual manhwa speedrun plots. The art? Look, it's pretty standard manhwa fare, nothing groundbreaking.
So, my final verdict on Murim Login? 9/10, would recommend! A wild ride and definitely worth your time. Now excuse me while I go find more hidden cultivation gems.

Season 2 of Re:Zero isn't just good, it elevates the series to a whole new level!!!
Remember that feeling of frustration with Subaru's untapped potential in Season 1? Season 2 throws him a fascinating challenge in the with a certain someone. This encounter forces Subaru to confront the true depths of his "Return by Death" ability, and explore its potential for both good and bad. This unironically answers the smartass question "Why subaru doesn't use his skill to be OP?" discussion in a satisfying way.
Those quirky habits of Subaru's that might have seemed like flaws in Season 1? Season 2 reveals them to be
...
seeds carefully planted by the author. These quirks become key elements in Subaru's transformation as he faces his shortcomings and learns from his repeated deaths. It's truly a sight to behold! Subaru's flaws themselves become a playground for the author to explore the depths of his character.
The side characters also receive a major upgrade in Season 2. Gone are the days of simply serving the plot. These characters blossom into full-fledged partners, showcasing the author's meticulous planning in crafting each member of Subaru's eccentric crew.
The romance between Emilia and Subaru also undergoes a significant transformation. Season 2 ditches the awkward teenage crush and throws them into a more mature and relatable relationship. They experience healthy arguments, highlighting the importance of communication in a budding romance. It's heartwarming to see them grow together and finally address the unspoken issues between them.
So, is Season 2 better than Season 1? Absolutely! This masterful author takes everything fans loved about Re:Zero and pushes it to the limit. Expect mind-blowing plot twists, character development that will leave you speechless, and an emotional roller coaster that will tug at your heartstrings. Forget comparisons to other isekai – Re:Zero Season 2 stands in a league of its own.

Honestly I was hoping that this will finally be the "Go inside the game" genre that's going to be unique and not generic. This is an anime that wanted to pay a homage to great games, or as they called it Kamige, but they failed miserably at it, the author feels like a normie who doesn't even understand any gaming nor dev knowledge.
First of all, this is definitely inspired from Elden Ring, and the Author somehow think that a game better than Elden Ring, The "Kamige", is when it's an MMORPG and there will be a unique quests hidden only for "lucky" players. How
...
in the fuck would it be fair for other players? Why would there be content that only "lucky" players have? it's so stupid. Of course the MC is the lucky player and him having an advantage out of everyone else defeats the purpose of him being a "good player". It's so stupid from the start where he get the item for leveling up.
Now this item is beyond beyond stupidly broken, you will gain double and a half the stats when leveling up but your xp gain when wearing that item is halved. Again who in the world wouldn't want that? so if the MC is level 100 he's like level 250 stat wise. It's so bullshit. The MC is known for his gaming skill, why the fuck would he not play in the same level field? even better put him at an actual disadvantage but still power through because he's that good at gaming. But of course, the moral of every generic anime story is, you will not succeed unless you got "lucky", "chosen", "trained by the best", "prophesized", etc.
Disappointing, good animation but the plot is ultra generic. Was hoping to see how MC good at video games, but we are being shown how MC is the lucky player to get the "unique event" to make him the most OP because of stats. MF THERE ARE ESPORTS WHERE ALL THE PLAYER ARE ON THE SAME LEVELING FIELD, THE FUCK IS THIS ANIME TROPE BRUH, IM SO GODDAMN TIRED.

Calling all isekai veterans and power-leveling addicts! This manhwa, FFF-Class Trashero, is here to blow the roof off your expectations. Forget the usual "trapped in a game" snoozefest. This one cranks the dial to eleven and blasts your eyeballs with pure, unadulterated content.
Here's the gist:
Leveling?
More like level-obliterating. Who needs a measly level cap when you can smash through it like a boss and reach levels beyond your wildest dreams (seriously, we're talking beyond 999)?
Skills?
We got more skills than you can shake a stat stick at. This manhwa doesn't just throw gear at the MC. It delves into a skill system
...
so deep and mysterious, it'll make your head spin faster than a beyblade on Red Bull. Think Skeleton Soldier on a sugar rush.
The MC?
Basically a walking power bar. Forget character development, this dude's all about growing his power like a crazed gym rat. He wants to go back to the real world, sure, but mostly so he can brag about his epic stats to everyone (probably while wearing a tank top that says "Level 1000: Deal With It").
Is it deep?
Nope.
Is it emotional?
Not a single tear.
Is it FUN?
Absolutely!
FFF-Class Trashero is like a high-octane video game come to life. It's a nonstop thrill ride of power-ups, epic battles, and enough content to satisfy even the most ADD, achievement-hunting maniac. Just don't expect Shakespearean dialogue or a Pulitzer Prize-winning plot.
So, prepare to witness the most gloriously overpowered isekai adventure ever. Just remember, with great power comes an insatiable hunger for more levels.

Alright now, listen up! Blue Lock promises to be the shonen sports manga that'll kick your expectations in the crotch. But before you dive in, here's the deal:
This ain't your typical Captain Tsubasa snoozefest. If you're a shonen veteran who thrives on the sweet nectar of underdog victories and epic training montages, then Blue Lock is your new bible.
New to anime? Lost in the maze of magical hair and friendship speeches? Then this might be a bit much. Imagine My Hero Academia cranked up to eleven, where everyone screams about being the best instead of mumbling about the power of friendship.
Why?
Because
...
Blue Lock throws out most of the shonen rulebook.
Our hero?
Not some wimpy kid with a hidden power. He's just a dude who wants to be the best striker in Japan, and isn't afraid to crush his teammates' dreams to get there. Kind of a jerk, but hey, at least he's honest.
Training arcs?
Who needs those! Blue Lock throws our boy Isagi and his rivals into a cutthroat Hunger Games-meets-soccer situation. Think less Krillin getting owned by Frieza, more like everyone tripping over each other to steal the damn ball.
Is it repetitive?
Maybe. Every arc seems to follow the same pattern: Isagi struggles, Isagi has a crazy epiphany, Isagi dominates. But somehow, it works. It's like watching a car crash you can't look away from.
Here's the thing:
Blue Lock knows exactly what it is. It's a manga built on shonen tropes, but it takes them to absurd extremes. It's like the authors took a shot of pure adrenaline, then sat down to write the most gloriously egotistical sports story ever.
So, should you read it?
If you like your sports anime with a heaping helping of crazy and a side of backstabbing: Hell yeah, dive in!
If you prefer your heroes a little less self-absorbed and a little more teamwork-oriented: Maybe steer clear.
But hey, even if it's not your cup of tea, you gotta admit, Blue Lock is anything but boring. It's a wild ride that might just leave you wanting to lace up your cleats and conquer the world (or at least your local rec league). Just remember, winning isn't everything... it's the only thing!
