An absolutely incredible story that takes the gameplay loop from a rogue like game and posits what it would be like to live in that loop, constantly dying and coming back just a bit stronger, a bit more knowledgable.

The MC is sort of dumb at times, but this is consistently lampshaded and the MC grows as the story progresses to both be more intelligent about their abilities and about the world they're in.

Juggling the various timelines and resets, remembering what happened before and how it'll affect the now is a main theme and it's so interesting to see everyone puzzle out what's going on

And even ... late into the series they're still answering questions found within the first couple dozen chapters, and asking new questions that you genuinely want to know the answers to

Absolute masterpiece of both writing and storytelling, you can tell the author put a lot of thought into the storyline before setting out, and that makes all the difference.

The Story is 10/10 i wanted to say you need no more explanations but to write a review the site says that i should write more things but as i said if u want to read it dont wait just read it i am sure that it will not disappoint you a bit and u will enjoy the series. Started off as a grimdark fantasy with light game elements, with a unique artstyle but it became a lot more generic in both story and art as time passed. i hear the webnovel this is based off of has ended pretty unsatisfactorily at 800 chapters. there probably simply was too much buildup and branches and not enough solid structure/fleshing out of the story so it just collapsed, but i still really like a lot of the concepts and story arcs especially in the first season or two. the bloodhound-like leandro, the way years of progress can be annihilated at each death, the cults and the ... inhuman tactics they used, and the implications of time regressing and game systems. the art was amazing too.. sadly not something that could be replicated for hundreds of chapters. overall i think skeleton couldnt protect the dungeon suffered from overvaluation of quantity over quality.
