Death Note is one of the absolute best thriller/suspense anime I have watched to date.
The story is so well written that you will never be able to stay a step ahead which is often possible in less thought out plots, and as you think you know what the next move will be, it will take you somewhere completely different and keep you on the edge of your seat.
As for the characters the only thing I can say is that they truly are amazingly balanced and so, oh so intriguing.
It is not everyday you find an anime where you honestly do

This anime is good for what it is, a short story in 12 very short episodes. Each episode lasts about 2 minutes, of which 30 seconds are the intro song. Needless to say it's short and to the point, but the story it tells is still compelling, and interesting enough to make it worth spending 5 minutes of your day on. In my opinion, you won't regret watching it, but you won't miss out on a lot if you don't. Good for a couple of laughs and a ship or two. "doki doki"

Chihayafuru is an anime which gets far too little attention in my opinion. The characters are well written and the story will pull you in from the very first episode. Yes, this anime is both interesting and exciting to watch, not to mention how you get insight into a game/sport that many of us didn't even know existed! I recommend this anime to you who like a strong female lead, intense showdowns in terms of competitive sports, great character development and last but not least a lil bit of romance sprinkled in. (And let us not forget about a couple of hotties ... |
