Realised a fic I've been following was finally completed and set out for a re-read.

The first and only comic shop I've been at I found by accident at uni.
Like you said, it really felt like home there, didnt wanna leave and bought the first few volumes of 20th century boys
Closed soon after though due to the recession.

Though I m sure you know of some of them, here s a few suggestion if you ever feel up to it

Maybe Zetsuen no Tempest, s.CRY.ed and Shinsekai yori as well, but can't really vouch for them as it's been a while.

Man, I read Junji Ito's Uzumaki some 10 years back and it has certainly left a permanent impression
I ll neven be able to look at snails the same way again!
Specially since where I m from people eat them...
It has left me with this notion that I need to be in a certain "mood" to read more of his work
Though now that you brought it up and since its been so long I think its time to get over it

I dont know why I haven't read Blame yet either
Certainly been eyeing it for years and I've seen some of the art, which is phenomenal
Do I start with Biomega or follow publication order?

Reading the physical copy ll always be best if you have the option, I agree
I think I'd be hooked on western comics as well if they were more widespread in Greece when I was growing up
I discovered anime/manga at uni and never looked back
I ll know to ask you if I ever feel like exploring them
(no Marvel or DC superhero stuff for sure, I m with you there)

Though I m used to reading online, I ve got friends that same as you, can't stand it for a long period of time so I get it.
It's just a pity cause there s a mountain of available free material out there

The never ending cycle against boredom is real! haha
I've just expanded mine through the years to books-tv series-anime-manga-korean drama (dont ask)- fanfiction
Thats why the "repeat" takes longer

Also, the things I've watched just to have sth on while chilling and eating in order to not waste time searching...
Still better that watching actual TV though

okay gotta stop
this is turning into an essay

I ll come back with some recs at some point
