I don't like reviewing works with numbers, I much prefer words and this anime was Good enough for me.
The first episodes are really lackluster, you could watch the first 2 episodes to get an idea of the setting and then switch to episode 11 cuz that's when the characters finally start to develop and we get more scenes with how each and every one of them thinks and feels about the others.
Soon, in 12th and 13th episodes we get flashbacks on their pasts and the anime starts to have some meaning, it's not just energic children randomly fighting monsters in mechas.

Wow writing a review on this site is a hefty work.
I just want to say that this anime sucked, watched 12 or so episodes in which I was bored to death. It tries to combine some existential theories aka the tree of Genesis, which is the god of the world who instills all characters to do as he wants ( or that's what I believe) because everything is messed up. The anime starts simple, and exciting, 2 young guys grieve a girl's death, one comes in contact with magic and they go on a journey. But that journey turns into a lame nerve-killer debate regarding the logic ... |
