Picture this: the date is July 4, 2019. One day after “Dumbell Nan Kilo Moteru?” is released. You work at a fairly inconspicuous gym, it’s a slow day and all you can think of is going back home to throw back a cold one and pass out. Suddenly, you hear a loud rumbling sound from outside the gym’s front door. You start to panic, New years is still half a year away and you were planning on quitting before the horde consumed you. As the rumblings get louder you hear a faint: “Nice Muscle!” in the distance and you realize what is happening. It’s too
...
late. As hundreds of weebs fill the gym trampling you underfoot like Mufasa in The Lion King the last thought that goes through your head is “So this is the power of anime… not bad, not bad at all”.
Tl;dr I’m going to be 100% real with you guys, back in the year 2017 I started reading this manga because I thought it was going to another generic ecchi anime just with all females. Don’t get me wrong, this show is about 75% ecchi nonsense but underneath all of it, you actually get a pretty comprehensible workout instructional video. The art is really good and while the story is pretty lackluster, does it really need a Shakespearean masterpiece? It’s relatively funny but all in all, it’s definitely not for everyone.
Story 5: Comprehensible, reasonable, funny at times, but above all else mediocre.
Just to rehash what I said earlier, this show doesn’t NEED to be really complex to be enjoyable. There really isn’t much to say about the story besides the fact that the humor SOMETIMES lands, at least I found it pretty funny, but you can definitely see pretty much all the jokes coming.
Art 8: The trojan horse that got millions of weebs into working out
You can make pretty much any weeb do whatever you want by animating a cute anime girl to do it first and this is definitely the case with Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru. I really wish I had statistical evidence to back me up but I’m more than certain that this show has influenced MORE than a few people to get up and start doing a few pushups. And this can be credited to just fantastic art by Doga Kobo. That being said, I gave the art an 8 because the animation just isn't there. It's serviceable, especially during the workout sections but overall there really isn’t too much to write home about
Sound 10: SIDE CHESTO
This is pretty self-explanatory, the opening and ending are basically perfect and hypes everyone within a three-mile radius to jump off their couch and start doing sit-ups or flex in the mirror. Anything that hypes me up this much gets a 10 in my opinion
Character 7: I can’t think of any jokes to be honest
To be honest I feel like almost everyone in this show can be explained with only one sentence (example: Hibiki likes to eat a lot. And Naruzou is really buff). There really isn’t anything I can say besides that, they aren’t bad and they fit the story perfectly but there really two dimensional.
Enjoyment 10: Even with some of the shortcomings I talked about earlier, this show is still an absolute banger and will forever be known as the one show that finally pushed me to try working out for once. Even when I wasn’t pumping iron or running a 20-mile marathon (at least that what it felt like) it still kept my attention from start to finish which is all I can really ask for at this point.
Overall 8: It’s a really good show and even if you’re not interested in sports at all I’d still recommend at least trying the show out for a little bit.

“Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: Tensai-Tachi no Renai Zunousen” or more commonly known as “Kaguya-sama, Love Is War” is a comedy/romance show with a tiny bit of… psychological warfare. Would I recommend it? Hell yeah!
TL;DR Kaguya-Sama Love Is War is basically what you would get if Light Yagami and L from Death Note tried to make the other confess to them instead of trying to kill each other. For the most part, it’s light-hearted but what really sets it apart from other comedy shows are the scenes where you see our two main characters duke it out in a battle of wits to try to somehow
...
“win” at love. Good character writing and a simplistic story really pushes the focus on the characters and what they’re doing making the whole experience enjoyable
Story: 8 The story is mostly fine with little shortcomings when it comes to the start and has a short sequence reminiscent of “Daily Lives of High School Boys”
Even though I gave the story section an 8, I believe that for the most part, the plot stays relevant with some side stories going on in the background to spice things up. However, I gave it an 8 for two main reasons, one of which is the fact that sometimes one of the shorts will start seemingly in the middle of an event as if the beginning wasn’t interesting enough and they decided to just remove it entirely. The other reason is that I personally don’t like the “three short stories” per episode way of storytelling (I know the manga chapters weren’t long enough to make every episode equate to one or two chapters it’s just how I feel). Other than those two things, it’s nothing but good things, however, it’s not the main event (that belongs to its characters) it does its job and it does it well.
Art: 8 Kaguya has the largest range of emotions on any character I’ve ever seen in my life
I have to say, A-1 Pictures hit it out of the park when it came to facial expressions and animations. Not to say anything else was lacking, everything looked superb and the animation never really felt stiff at all, everyone who worked on this definitely worked hard and I really have to give credit to them. While nothing was lacking, it doesn’t really hold a candle to the animation powerhouse of Mob Psycho this season, it’s still solid in its own right.
Sound 8: The ending went beyond most memes and became a fucking masterpiece
HOT DOG was the opening and ending SUPERB in this anime, other than that, except for a couple of songs the rest of the soundtrack was relatively tame, nothing really stuck out for me as a really important and game-changing song. I’m not trying to underplay the musical achievement of the show but you can tell the music wasn’t the forefront. The voice acting on the other hand… was a MASTERPIECE, virtually every voice actor fit their character to a T.
Character: 10…
I don’t even know where to begin with this one… There is a certain depth to every character that makes them feel more realistic than most other romcoms in anime. With the “three stories per episode” thing going on, there really isn’t enough room for a more casual approach to character development but it really doesn’t matter since their interactions are deliberate and bring out everything you need to know. I know I’m biased since I binged the manga and I’m probably mixing it up with the anime but at least we know that it was a good adaptation if I’m able to confuse them this much. I can’t say too much without spoiling but just know that the characters REALLY drives this show home.
Enjoyment 10
Overall: 8.8 -->9
Yeah, it’s a 9… not much to say here but I really recommend it to any comedy fans out there... All 7 billion of you.

Would I recommend this show? YES! I have and I’ll do it again, this show is amazing from both a technical standpoint and because of its story.
Tl;dr Promised Neverland (Yakusoku no Neverland) is a fantastic show with more twists than the Gordian knot and is all presented in an easy to understand way. I’d recommend it to literally anyone (even though anime isn’t for everyone), in my opinion, this is easily the best show this season.
Story: 10 - There’s really not much to say about it, I loved it and I think it’s fantastic for anyone who likes thriller.
Despite the tags in MyAnimeList,
...
I don’t think this show really fits in the “horror” genre. It fits more into the thriller with more suspense than fear, really putting you on the edge of your seat and making you really fear for the children’s lives (Well… as much as a shonen anime could). Another great aspect of this show is the phycological side of it, Mama is an unrelenting genius who foils almost every plan the main characters can come up with, seemingly knowing what they’re thinking before they know it themselves. Going back to the story itself, it’s an outstanding tale of deception, escape, and drama that never shows its true cards and only tells you the important details (which is personally my favorite type of writing)
Art 9 - I want to give this a 10 for its superb animation but unfortunately shows like Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara exist and I guess “The game was rigged from the start”
It’s become an ever-present trend in anime nowadays to actually LOWER the quality of individual frames in order to make the overall animation look better, which is the equivalent of turning down your in-game setting to get a higher frame rate. It’s been done several times in the past most prominently with fight scenes but more recently we’ve seen the emergence of shows where a majority of scenes are taken down from “Ultra” to “High”, not to say this is a bad thing, it’s just an inevitable trend that I personally think is a good thing. Promised Neverland is no different, making use of both bright colors to contrast or dark colors to complement the story going on. Usually, being in the dark signifies danger and the light to signify safety but in Promised Neverland both sides are both equally as dangerous to show the viewer that no one character is ever “safe” they never have been and never will be. I could go in even more detail but I don’t want to make this section any longer.
Sound 9.9 (basically a 10) - I love the soundtrack a lot, I only found fault in one section of the opening.
Let me just address the elephant in the room, a 9.9? How df does a soundtrack get a 9.9? I love the opening but in the beginning, there’s a section where a saxophone is being played and I just absolutely HATE it. I don’t know exactly why it bothers me so much but it was enough for me to knock it down .1 points. Other than that I think this show is spot on, pairing nicely with the art to give a dark and foreboding environment that really adds to the “Thriller” experience. Sometimes you’ll hear the danger coming and sometimes it’ll pop up on you not making a single sound. During the “Let's escape” scene in the first episode the soundtrack really sold me on the entire show, it was truly horrifying and downright creepy. Finally, the show also uses silence effectively, turning off the background music so you can really focus on the craziness that’s going on in front of you.
Character 10 - These characters are great not because they’re all amazing by themselves but because of how the impact the story.
It really takes a special kind of writer to make characters important just by standing there being completely useless and Kaiu Shirai did just that. Not only are the main three (Emma, Ray, and Norman) important but even the toddlers that really don’t do much can be central figures in certain scenes tipping the battles that they themselves aren’t even aware of. Mama and HQ are both mysterious individuals manipulating everyone around them to the dismay of the deceived around them. Without spoiling too much, this show is both story and character-driven making an amazing pair that (in my opinion) makes it one of the best this season.
Enjoyment & Overall 10
Let’s get serious here, you know this was going to be a 10… because you probably read the “10” next to the review. Most of what I wanted to say was already said and I’d recommend you making Promised Neverland the next show you binge watch today!

Goblin Slayer is a show the relies PURELY on shock value. The start of the show got TONS of media attention because it was a PG-rated show with non-PG attributes. The entire show itself is basically one huge hype train that leads….. I really don’t know, somewhere? There’s no real end goal besides “the extermination of all goblins” but that’s really it.
TL;DR
It’s a HUGE hit-or-miss show, either you’re going to make it through the first episode or you’re going to drop it. However, if you make it through you’ll be rewarded with an endless cliffhanger reminiscent of shows that have a LOT more episodes.
Story
...
7: From what I can understand you’re not getting anything groundbreaking in the story department. (However, the show is called Goblin Slayer so you WILL get goblin slaying)
Like I said before the entire show is highly dependent on shock value, something crazy happens and the show tries its best to make the viewer feel some sort of fear for the well being of all the characters… That’s it, there’s no real narrative or goal it's just random events that all relate to goblin slaying and that’s it. That’s literally the entire show, it’s not bad because they don’t expect you to know anything but people who only want stories are going to be SORELY disappointed.
Art 7: CGI
Not nearly as bad as Berserker and has several well-animated scenes. The first episode gives a VERY bad impression on how CGI is used throughout the series, but I despise CGI no matter where it is. Other than that, a lot of the fight scenes are badass, Goblin Slayer will just run around slicing through goblins, throw his sword, and just continue on the fight with a club like nothing happens. At these moments the show is near perfect, it’s great as long as it lasts but all good things much end and when the combat scenes end the animation quality DROPS.
Sound 9: Heavy Metal reminiscent of Doom
The opening and closing are all great, that’s enough to give it a 9 despite the rest of the track being mediocre.
Character 8: Nothing much individually but sometimes it feels like the entire cast just clicks and they seem like a genuine party.
You have your traumatized MC who does whatever it takes to kill all the (Insert random monster) he sees because they killed their family which is what we see in a lot of shows. However, something that the show tries to convey is that Goblin Slayer is not some unkillable god-like monster who could obliterate you by looking at you, in fact, he’s not strong at all he’s creative.
You have your Priest character who owes her life to GS because he saved her in a cave, you have your childhood friend who harbors feelings for the MC, you elf girl she meets because she-- HEY WAIT A SECOND! This is a harem anime! Or it WOULD be if he was even remotely interested in anything except killing goblins. I would say it was kind of annoying but in the sea of mentally retarded main characters, this is actually a breath of fresh air.
Enjoyment 10: Maybe I’m still reminiscing about playing Doom for three hours straight every day, but when the action picks up, the show gets AMAZING.
Overall 8: WARNING! JUST LIKE ALL SHOWS IN EXISTENCE, THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR EVERYONE!
This show is exclusively for action fans who don’t really care about the story
I guess

Tokyo Ghoul: re is the biggest mystery anime of all time without even trying. It never shows all of its cards, it doesn’t clue you in on the show’s meaning, it shows what it wants to show and dips. Personally, I’m more inclined to like this sort of story writing, books/anime like Overlord did it best in my opinion but the problem with this is that it wasn’t intentional. Clearly, there was some sort of disconnect on what the manga was portraying and what the anime was able to deliver and something went wrong, I have several theories on why that happened but that’s not
...
important, what’s important is whether or not I’d recommend it (I won’t).
TL;DR
Tokyo Ghoul started off really strong in the series and I fought tooth and nail to defend it even though all its confusing storylines, but I’d only recommend it if you’re willing to solve any questions by yourself (by using the wiki) because the anime isn’t going to answer any of them.
Story: 4
Let’s be honest with ourselves, the Tokyo Ghoul:re manga really wasn’t that good in the first place, so when Studio Pierrot was told to make an anime adaptation of this they were fighting an uphill battle. Not only that but they were only allowed to use 12 episodes per season so they had to cram. This, of course, led to some scenes getting cut in a manga where it already felt like scenes were cut from the final draft making the whole thing a lot worse. The actual plot wasn’t really that bad but they tried to paint both sides of a story by making EVERY OTHER CHARACTER an insufferable asshole the whole time to paint both sides as awful as humanly possible and it made it almost impossible to root for anyone. That being said there were a few moments the anime managed to keep which were really nice (not enough, but there were still there).
Art: 8
Say what you will about the story but HOT DAMN were (some of) those kagunes BADASS. I feel like all of the art budget went to the fight scenes which really doesn’t matter since 90% of the show was pure fight scenes. This does, however, mean that anything else no matter how serious or impactful to the story, never looked as good as it really intended to be.
Sound: 9
I can’t lie, I loved the opening AND closing, its one of those shows where you watch youtube videos of both the Opening and the Ending. Voice actors were more or less on top of it, they all fit their roles to a T, funnily enough, though, all of the best voice actors spoke the least. Finally, the sounds of kagunes activating sounded badass, but without a good reference, I can’t say for sure whether its top of the line or bottom-tier.
Character 3:
My favorite part of any show would be its character development, unfortunately, the only person to ever receive any sort of character development would be Kaneki. This could’ve been negated with a cast of reasonably written characters but as I said earlier: every other character were written to is insufferable as possible so that’s COMPLETELY out of the window. I honestly would’ve cared at all if Kaneki acted like… well… Kaneki in more than three scenes I would’ve given this a higher score.
Enjoyment: 7
Gotta give points where its due, while I was confused the entire time the action scenes were pretty top notch in terms of enjoyment so I’d give it a 7
Overall: 6
This show is 100% flash no filler, it's like the recently completed: Baki (2018) without even trying which is actually not a good thing at all. I would’ve recommended it unless:
You’re not looking for a story
You have the time to search through the wiki/manga to answer all your questions.

There are few words that describe Baki (2018), the only one that comes to mind is “violent” which is both an extremely accurate and flawed description of the show. One one hand, the show is extremely violent, people are getting completely OBLITERATED in like three punches but sometimes it feels like it’s really going easy on us.
TL;DR I’d give this show an 8 (rounding down the 8.2)
Let me preface this by saying I haven’t watched any of the previous Baki animes, so I’m not too caught up with the Baki lore or anything. That being said, the show feels really basic… there’s not much
...
in terms of “story” from what I gathered. That being said, if you’re a fan of just fighting, nothing really tying the fights together beside a couple of words, this show is for you.
Story: 6 Story? What story?
In all honesty, I feel like I should give this a lower score, there’s honestly not much in terms of story AT ALL. But I also feel like it doesn’t really matter since the show doesn’t NEED a story either. That being said: one of the absolutely greatest parts of the show would be the surprise element: you have NO idea who’s going to win in a fight (save for a few individuals). This really stood out since most of the time, there really isn’t any sense of suspense when the main characters fight a secondary character or when a protagonist fights an antagonist. But in Baki, you genuinely have no idea WHAT’S going to happen, it really raises the stakes by making every character able to lose from the most hyped up guy to the thirdary character shoehorned in five minutes ago.
Art: 7 Baki is in this weird place where at some points the animation is GREAT! Someone gets kicked in the face and you can feel the impact… but then it flies back to a still image with camera movement to simulate action.
I’m in turmoil when trying to review its art because, on one hand, some of its animations seem lazy and half-assed but on the other hand you can really FEEL the impact of most of the hits. I can’t really give it an accurate review so I’ll just leave it with a 7
Sound 10: OOH The sound THROUGHOUT the anime was near PERFECT!
Going back to what I said in the “art” section, part of the reason why every hit felt genuine was the sound, from fracturing bone to explosions, everything had a certain weight behind it that I really can’t properly explain. The OST was also great, tracks were noticeably reused but still sounded epic no matter HOW many times they replayed it, and it also boasts one of the greatest endings of all time (in my opinion), the sound of Baki is almost as crazy as the show itself.
Character 8: I personally like it when an author writes a character with no intention of them being liked by anyone.
The characters in Baki seem relatively different from each other, but the major disparity between them would be their fighting styles. On one hand, you have the honorable martial artists, each with their own history and methods of fighting and on the other hand, you have the (mostly) despicable death row inmates who focus on more underhanded tactics to win (example, most of the inmates used explosives at least once).
Enjoyment: 8 Dumb fun
Baki is the true TOURNAMENT ARC anime and I LOVE it for that.
Overall: 8
There’s not much else to say except: “wow, this show is fun to watch”

What is the most important part of a story? Would it be worldbuilding? The overall plot? I believe that it's the characters and how they interact with not only themselves but the world itself. Kaze ga Tsuyoko Fuiteiru is the prime example, the shining image, of true character development.
TL;DR
Overall impression: 8.4
I feel like the focus of the show is on the character and character growth more than it is about pushing the narrative of the story. I’d recommend it but I’ve found that several people have problems with certain aspects that I’ll go into detail later.
True Review:
Story: 7
At face value the
...
story is probably a 5, it gives what its supposed to for a narrative, nothing more nothing less. However, in practice with all the great characters the story feels “better” but still not AMAZING. The story follows a group of University students who, for some reason or another, was suddenly part of a track team. They then train for a really important race that’s coming up and… that’s actually it. The story isn’t complex in the slightest but since all that characters are so different and interactive the story feels like a really long training montage that takes up the entire runtime of the show. Not bad, but people might not like it
Art: 9
As I said in my other reviews, I’m not an artist, I have almost NO experience with art except for a couple high school and college classes. That being said even though I can’t tell you exactly how hard it is to produce such a masterpiece I can tell you… that well… I think it’s a masterpiece.
Every movement: seamless, every character: expressive. Even Prince changed facial expressions more than some of the best anime I’ve seen. Every scene feels a notch above the rest in terms of animation, even in some scenes where an ordinary studio might just animate the mouth and nothing else Production I.D. said: “well screw that! let’s just animate EVERY SINGLE PART of the character!”.
Sound: Hmm… 7
Top notch intro, but that’s really all that stood out to me unlike Made In Abyss with 100 different sounds, each deserving of some type of award. I had originally planned on giving the sound a 6 since it really didn’t stand out BUT it didn’t ruin the experience, however, it didn’t seem to fair to give it that low of a score.
Characters: 10
Outstanding, REALLY outstanding. There are few characters out there in anime with the amount of character depth EVERY single character in this show has. While at the time of writing this review I’ve only seen 11 episodes and only a couple of characters have had the pleasure of getting an arc I already feel like I know them. Not a lot of shows, both animated and real, can say that kind of thing. Even though this is by far the greatest part of the show, I can’t really say enough that’ll do it justice.
Enjoyment: 10
This really makes my day worth it to be honest. Not much to say but this is one of the most enjoyable series I’ve seen in a while.
Overall: 8-9
Now here comes the hard part: In my review, it seemed like I’d give this show a 10/10 and I really do believe that it comes close, however in order for a show to get full points I believe it needs a 10/10 in all 5 categories and I don’t believe there is a show like that in existence (apart from Hunter X Hunter of course).
I hope you enjoy the show as much as I am right now, The End

I am a huge sucker for comedy anime and I always go out of my way to watch shows like this season’s Grand Blue (another really good comedy) and less conventional comedies like Watamote. Asobi Asobase is probably one of if not THE greatest among them.
Story 8: I wasn’t looking for a spectacular story with a dozen underlying messages so I’m content with what I got.
There isn’t much to say about the story except for the fact that it tied everything together. If you watch Daily Lives of High School Boys, the story flows almost the exact same way, with exceptions to a certain
...
main character never making an appearance. The events shown consists mostly of boring situations transformed into a hilarious spectacle or a serious misunderstanding acted upon comedically with the characters in the show perfectly voice acted. (more on that later).
Art 10: Love the art style… nothing to really expand on with this. Animation can be a little choppy but that’s to be expected
Like I’ve said before, I’m easily impressed by any forms of art and this show probably gets away with more than it should. That being said, the show is drawn perfectly, easily capturing emotions in reaction frames, and very unique and sometimes ironic characters.
Sound 10: Every reaction has an accompanying sound that fits it perfectly
People tend to focus on the music when it comes to the “sound” category, and for good reason, most anime don’t have too many notable sound effects when it comes it what characters do. I’m glad to say that Asobi Asobase is a HUGE exception to this. Every time something funny happens it’s due to not only the art, but the sound and anyone who’s watched to show can tell you that the show gets a 10 in both.
Character 10: You shouldn’t judge someone by their appearance… or should you?
I love all of the characters in Asobi Asobase, they have their own personalities and quirks that you won't be able to figure out the first time you see them. It’s not GROUNDBREAKING to have a character show their true colors later in the series but I think this show does this well. My personal favorite example of this is the character, Fujiwara. She looks like something out of a classical Japanese painting, so naturally, everyone expects her to be a master of Japanese, but surprise surprise! She’s actually gifted in English and goes as far as to mix it in with her Japanese in conversation and in her thoughts. It may not be for everyone, but this show is filled with people like this and I love it.
Enjoyment 9: Even though I don’t like that organization of each episode, I still love it overall.
I don’t really have much to say here… uhh, I loved every episode and you can find some on youtube for free if you want.
Overall 9: A solid comedy anime that’s able to compete with the big boys of comedy.

(EDITED)
Did I find this funny? YES
Will you find this funny? Probably not
Grand Blue is, when you really boil it down, a comedy anime about diving. It would be strange to try to compare it to anything else, however, the show decides that it also wants to be about diving and college life and it gets really muddled when trying to review it. (I’ll try to do the best that I can)
Story: 7
I’m gonna have to give the story a 7.
Comedy-wise, this shows has a very strong similarity to Prison School with its HIGHLY detailed reaction faces. I really can’t over exaggerate how comedic and
...
shadowed each and every reaction is, and that it’s strongest feature. In terms of an actual story, it’s average considering it’s a comedy anime but actually teaches the viewer a thing or two every once and awhile.
Art: 8
HIGHLY ALMOST CRIMINALLY detailed reactions… but unpolished messes when it comes to regular expressions.
I don’t even want to KNOW how long it took to draw most of those reactions it's simply amazing 10 out of 10. HOWEVER, everything is average, nothing too good and sometimes it dips down to disgusting in certain scenes. You really can’t tell too much since 90% of the show is reaction scenes but holy shit.
Sound: 7 (EDIT)
Idk… I want to give it a higher score but it’s so forgettable I don’t even have anything to give it besides... Mediocre. That being said, the opening for this show is AMAZING and deserves an extra two stars simply for its existence.
Characters: 6
Prison school
The main character is literally an older version of Kiyoshi Fujino who’s prepared to strip down to his underwear subconsciously. The show has a weird effect where the less relevant the character is, the more interesting they become.
Enjoyment: 10
Even with all these flaws, it’s still one of my favorite comedy anime
Don’t get me wrong, however, this show is FAR from a masterpiece. In all honesty, it’s not a show that you HAVE to take at face value or else your experience with it will be shitty.
Overall…: 7
I wanted to give it a 6 but because of how many times it made me laugh out loud, It’s better than Prison school, at least.
EDIT: gonna have to pull a fast one and raise the overall to a nine for the simple reason that I have NEVER laughed at a show as many times as I laughed at Grand Blue... Sorry

I’ll give “Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro” a solid 6.5/10
In order to fully understand “Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro” you have to understand where the characters came from. You see both main characters were used before in other media such as games and webtoons, and in these characters, Nagatoro was just a straight up sadist and found joy out of torturing the guy she had feelings for. A lot of people are shocked by how the characters act and I just wanted to clear that up, with that said, however, this is the review.

Story: 6
Simple but often lackluster.
The story is very simple and often doesn’t revolve outside the lives of the two main characters inside the small confines of one clubroom. Not exactly the worst I’ve ever heard and the simplistic nature allows for the author to focus purely on the relationship between the characters, however, this also makes all… two other characters completely irrelevant if they’re in the same frame as the main characters which is a shame since they probably could’ve been fleshed out a little more.
Art: 8
Better than anything I could draw but not the best I’ve ever seen.
Personally, I can’t draw for shit, so this is an extremely biased review. I will say, that background characters and objects are reduced to basically a few lines a couple of times.
Character: 5
Stereotypical at best, boring at worst.
This is my most serious gripe with this manga, the characters are just stand-alone extreme variants of popular tropes that you might see in one shot characters. However, they do flesh out the main characters during the progression of the manga, it’s not the best but I’m optimistic about the future.
Enjoyment 6:
Kinda good
The show could’ve been so much better but in all honesty, it’s a huge improvement from what it used to be.
Overall 7:
Gotta round the number up but if I could I’d give it a 6.5
