You might like both these mangas if you're a fan of gruesome murders in fiction. Both series do not shy away from telling stories about horrible things happening to human bodies. In both series main characters reluctantly start working with a person who is somewhat (or very, in case of Murdist) unhinged and creepy but who also possesses valuable knowledge in a certain field (forensics in Igakusei and familiarity with copycat murders in Murdist). It's interesting to see MCs solve murders while only having access to limited information (whether due to technological limitations of the time period or due to the fact that their partner only gives out clues during a game). MC's and their "companions" have different dynamics in the two series, but they still work off each other well in both.

Kurohyou to 16-sai

Both mangas deal with a premise of a girl that is "rough around the edges" being in a constant company of attractive and popular guys and being put into various situations together with them. Both girls have a "main suitor" with whom they develop the relationship throughout the story. Kurohyou to 16-sai is more romance focused, while also having a "human pet" element to its plot. And Yamato Nadeshiko Shichihenge is a lot more wacky and comedic. It's interesting to see how these different series realize similar set-ups and romantic threads.

The couples in both mangas are very bashful and kind of awkward in relation to romantic pursuits. A lot of relatively small romantic gestures or milestones are a big deal for them. Both titles are relatively laid-back and don't contain much drama. A good read if you want to enjoy something cute and wholesome without having to stress about the safety of the couple's relationship. In both, characters meet while one of them is working and continue to meet at their place of work (A flower shop in "Kawaii Hito" and a bar in "Toaru Tenin to Kyaku no Hanashi") In both mangas, the romantic relationship between main characters begins pretty early on.

Both series are about student-teacher relationship (although in homura-sensei the roles are reversed with the student pursuing the teacher who is against this whole ordeal) Both contain pessimistic and kinda weird teacher characters who are not taken seriously by their students
