Sometimes, you just need to turn your brain off and simply enjoy something that wants to be fun.
Needless, is that very thing.
To appreciate Needless you need to understand that it is not trying to be overly complex or showcasing moral high grounds or anything like that.
Needless is, at is core, a show that simply wants to entertain. It gives you character banter, plenty of cool over the top fights and striking visuals. Really, the visuals are amazing in this show, despite using mainly basic, flat colors.
It doesn't try to be clever with its writing, it's very self-aware of what it wants to be and
...
it does it with a god damn big flare.
If you ever just want a show simple in its story and giving you tons of fights with a ton of different super powers, this show is just the thing. And it's pretty damn hard to find something like it out there, trust me I've looked.
Our main character, Adam Blade, is a supposed priest with a terrible attitude and personality. He pretty much hounds and bosses his friends, is an open lolicon and is greedy to boot. But despite all his character flaws he is the closest to a good guy we're gonna get in this show, which already sets the mood of what to expect.
Luckily his "friends" somehow endures his terrible personality and make sure he stays in line, most of the time. Really, we don't get to see main characters so borderline villainous as Blade here in animes.
So if you wanna watch some people bash robots apart with their bare hands or bash each other with fire coated fists or supersonic speed, get going and watch Needless already!

Is It Okay To Learn How To Love Again?
Our story is about a man, Willem Kmetsch, with a troubled past and problems to adjust to the current world after the world's surface was destroyed. Most people existing now are of new races (furries), and someone like Willem is considered a freak of nature looking the way he does, with no animal traits or anything.
Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? or just SKSK is a deceptive anime when given its premise, as Willem gets assigned a new job with barely any requirements it appears that he will be taking care
...
of what appear to be a lot of tiny girls.
Now, Willem working as the caretaker for these leprechauns, is going to go through a lot of things and experience what it's like being the person who has to await for their dear ones to return from the frontlines.
SKSK is a 12 episode anime that explores a new angle of war, rarely do we ever have the main character being someone not working at the frontline but instead can only hope the girls sent out all come home back unscathed.
In a steampunk like world, we get to see a man with a troubled past taking care of young girls with no attachment or value to their lives, knowing they are made for the sole purpose to fight until they break or succeed in their missions. Willem slowly lets himself open up and adopts them as his own, but as he opens more and more of himself to these soldiers, the more vulnerable he makes himself.
Witnessing some of the most organic development of love and tragedy. With interesting showcase of both the heartwarming home life and the heartbreaking reality of war. Every episode left me either with a feel good sensation or nervous nail biting hoping everything will turn out alright.
For people who enjoy action (from street fights to monster slaying) and seeing a ragtag bunch of people creating a powerful bond worthy of being considered a true family, SKSK is a 12 episode anime I highly recommend.
As the story progress, we get to know more of what happen to the world, what role Willem once played and the truths behind the leprechauns.
If the very first minute of the first episode (exactly 1minute) catches your attention, then you will enjoy this anime. Honestly, if the first minute truly hooked you, do not drop the anime and stick to the very end.
This anime will have a fair share of slice of life episodes mixed with the war, as those parts are incredibly important for Willem's character development and for us as an audience to understand the adorable leprechauns (and how the people of the world seems them).
As someone who have not read the light novels, I am saved by ignorance not knowing if the story missed out on anything vital. But for what the anime was by itself, it was one of the best ones I watched this season.

How far will you go for revenging the death of your family?
That is the question 91 Days will work on over 12 episodes. After the loss of his family, Angelo Lagusa only has a name of the man responsible of murdering his family several years before present time.
91 Days is a rare case of a 12 episode anime that actually manages to completely tell its story, not leaving open endings for potential sequels or anything like that. And it does so nicely paced.
In a 1920's esque American mafia world setting, our story plaÿs out in the seedy underworld of the mafias. The story will have
...
several characters stories tied in to the main character's motives of revenge. Everything Angelo does is carefully planned, working his way to get deeper and deeper into the mafia family responsible of his family's death.
But the deeper Angelo gets, the more difficult things gets. Riskier gambles, people starting to suspect Angelo's background and motives.
A thriller anime that will keep you on the edge of the seat with every episode, as more characters gets introduced that fleshes out the world and rumbles the storyline with their own ploys. If you're a fan of suspense and mafia settings, this is a must watch.
