This is my first review, and I decided to make it on this show.
First off, there are so many reasons as to why I should never have even watched this show. I HATE baseball. I really don't like it. So I didn't plan on watch a 50 episode anime based around the sport. Nevertheless, I got bored, and watched the first episode, knowing that there was some romance in it. Childhood romance! what to expect. So, of course, I had to watch the next one to see how it would play out. So I continued to watch each episode. Before I knew it, I began to actually like baseball.
Cross Game is a series were you can't help but get a big stupid grin on your face because the characters are just so awesome. You can't help but fall in love with the main characters and just want more.
When you watch this anime, it becomes obvious at what is going to happen at the end. But that doesn't stop you, because it is HOW they get to that destination that is so great.
Bottom line is, this anime is fantastic. My favorite anime of all time. If you are looking for an anime filled with intense moments, funny characters and a cute romance, Cross Game is the one for you
