The anime started off pretty great, but as the show went on, there was absolutely nothing happening.
This is an "semi-Isekai" (Reborn, but in the same world), and the king is reborn as a waifu. I thought there were be more comedic moments with this, but nothing came out of it. On top of this, the main character is a battle junkie with 0 character growth by the end.
I kept watching hoping for something interesting, but as the show dragged on, every episode became more painful and boring to watch. I'm a pretty positive Isekai reviewer who's at least enjoyed the bad Isekais as

Like what everyone else says, this decently-written story is COMPLETELY butchered by whoever had the idea of "lets arrange the anime episodes completely out of order for no reason".
Look up a chronological order of episodes before watching. This anime DOES NOT land the "out-of-order episodes" trope at all, and its completely unnecessary. This would have been a "fine" or "decent" anime this season if it was just aired in chronological order, but this decision to make it out of order brought a potential 7/10 anime down to a 4/10... And 4/10 is being generous imo. The soundtrack & art is at least good. Character design ... |
