This anime is the typical ecchi harem isekai you may probably know if you watch it with high expectations in mind but as a critic who turned off his brain for a while and watched this, I enjoyed this A LOT! Unexpectedly but yes, though I did noticed a lot of flaw in the anime but I can't deny the fact that I enjoyed the wackiness of this one. So here are what I noticed in the anime:
Character 7/10
I like em, typical group of girls in a harem though the guy is not your typical harem guy so I actually like him a bit. Though
...
as you may expect, not all of them have well written characters since the story mainly focuses on our two couple which are Satou and Krystal. They are the only ones who have actual goal and actual human like behavior; whilst the others are just "anime characters" who fills in the gap to make it a harem.
Story 7/10
Story is funny, kind of reminds me of legend of zelda, collecting these to defeat the main antagonist and all that. Though it's kinda shallow considering how easy they went off and married Satou the mc. The only realistic marriage I've seen throughout the story was Nifrits (the elf girl) because she's the only one who actually took a little more time to convince to get married. But that was it, the story is a good enough push to the story though there are times when the character developments feel forced just so the story can go on .
Art direction 8/10
I KNOW, there are lots of times when their anatomy is off, when their heads look too small or even their hands look weird. But what really got me is HOW GOOD THE COLORS ARE AND THE BACKGROUND DESIGN! gotta give to those folks who colored this anime and drew the backgrounds, this is some good shite. Its funny how shallow the story is, expecting it to be something like highschool dxd and then you see the quality of the art and you're just like "yo what the hell, okay maybe i underestimated it a bit too much"
Sound direction 9/10
I'm not sure if it's because of my earphones but damn this anime got some solid sound design. I also liked the music motifs and themes made for each scenarios and characters. It sounds like they actually put some money into this anime, hands down.
Overall 7/10
I watched this expecting this story would be over once i finished episode 12 but after seeing that horribly made cliffhanger at the last second, i got disappointed. How fast the story was progressing felt like it was rushing because the episode 12 was near, and then i see episode 12 with its stupid cliffhanger, then what was the point of the plot dragging so fast if its not yet finished? If there would be season 2 then at least they couldve made the pacing slower, which couldve been a good opportunity for deeper characters. And because of that rushed story, none of them barely has any actual character, how disappointing, just when i was enjoying the show. But oh well, guess ill read the manga instead.

This has truly been an unexpected experience as how it started and how it rolled things into a much heavier tone. With the genre of romance/drama in mind, I believe that they have done very well to use this as the main element to move the story forward. With the level of execution of its drama, I can easily put it in between Nisekoi and Toradora, and if we were to scale it, I'd put oregairu at number one and this anime to number five.
It seems to have used the same formula as Toradora did but with fewer episodes to go with and the
...
first half done in moderation. A lot of people dropped Toradora due to Taiga's extreme behavior, ending up with viewers having to bear it until it became interesting. In Araburu, the first half wasn't all that bad, I really thought I was watching cute girls doing cute stuffs but it caught me off guard when things went to absolute shit. I love drama, most especially if it's heavier than your ballsacks; true, it is a bit exaggerated and it is a kind of drama that you won't see in real life, but I love the way they used elements of the drama/romance genre to unravel the conflict, and as a writer myself, I say that it is a well constructed narrative progression. To be honest, this only got a 9/10 from me just because it felt like the ending wasn't finished at all with some conflicts being left unsolved but that was it. I'm just glad that it didn't ended up wasting my time like it did in HigeHiro, with the first half being interesting and everything until shit didn't make any sense anymore and it all became cringe as balls and story went to absolute garbage. And so I guarantee you that the Araburu's 12 episodic story is without a doubt, worth of you time.

Ah yes another isekai anime where mc gets to love the new life he was given and became a really OP mc.. or so I thought it was. As some who had complaints on the anime, if you really have been watching anime long enough, ecchi shouldn't a problem to you now wouldn't it? But anime tropes aside.
It acutally is a pretty normal isekai where the mc gets sent to another world then learns new things and become an OP mc we all love. BUT! There's a but, cuz this is finally an isekai where he still remembers his old life from time to
...
time unlike other isekais who has completely forgotten the world they came out of. What really makes this isekai shine is literally on the title "if i get sent to another world, ill get serious" or something like that; the mc had a really cruel life just like most of us do and getting born to another world literally gives you a second chance in life, and this anime really shows how he get over his emotional struggle and his trauma from his past life, which is something we all be interested to experience first hand. What makes a good story is seeing the protagonist getting over not only the story's conflict but his own internal conflict and this anime is a perfect example of it. Sure, he is a pervert, lustful but shouldn't you be used to it by now? We all know it's always will be japan's funniest joke in their persepctive. Well maybe 50% of the characters being horny is too much but I didn't find it to have any effect on the overall story or whatsoever.
Overall, it's a masterpiece isekai, this is how isekais should be, the mc should look back in their past lives from time to time because, what is the point of it being an isekai in the first place if the mc would forget about earth anyway? Easily could go into your must watch list.
