I thoroughly enjoyed this anime the first time I watched it and even placed it alongside some of my favorite movies of all time like 'Kimi no Na Wa' but after a while, it had given me a very bitter taste to the point of me not recommending it as an anime anymore.

Charlotte is an anime I will never understand why I like. The plot is very basic, it is not very long, the ending is incredibly rushed and it angers me to see so many episodes wasted in just a flash of an episode, and yet somehow, until today, remains to be one of the most memorable animes I have ever watched in my life.
Perhaps it's the simplicity or the general vibe but it remains to me today a mystery as to why I like it so much. Maybe it could be the songs or maybe even the art style but it will hold the ... |
